A hard-hitting matchup between Josh Koscheck and Jake Ellenberger has been set for UFC 151. The UFC announced the match-up Wednesday night.
The two talented welterweights will be looking to bounce back from their respective losses to Johny Hendricks and Martin Kampmann. Ellenberger will be looking to vault himself back into the title picture after losing to Kampmann, while Koscheck will be looking to play his natural role of spoiler.
UFC 151 takes place September 1 live from Las Vegas, Nevada at the Mandalay Bay Events Center. The card will be headlined by a light heavyweight title fight between champion Jon Jones and former Strikeforce champion Dan Henderson.

GO JAKE!
What a matchup!!
I think Koscheck will expose Ellenbergers wrestling
I think Elenberger will expose Kos’ chin.
exactly
*Koscheck
This is an excellent match-up.
Fixed, thanks.
I thought Kos was going to head to middleweight?
thought about it, again, and didn’t follow through
So is Koscheck the Welterweight division’s new gatekeeper? Heh…
Koschek is a gatekeeper. I like him, but he’ll never be even top 5 in weltewrweight.
Jake needs to work on his eye poke defense.
I think Kos still has some in the tank but I believe ellenberger will win.
He’s been a gate keeper since he threw in the towel against GSP. He knows he cannot beat GSP, and he better know now that he can’t compete at mw so his only hope is that condit or someone else winds up with the belt by the time he makes his way up.
