A pair of former UFC Champions have been added to ONE FC 5: Pride of A Nation as Andrei Arlovski and Jens Pulver have both been giving fights on the bill.
A former UFC Heavyweight Champion, Arlovski (17-9) faces off with Soa Palelei (17-3). After a failed Strikeforce run, the Belarusian has quietly put together a pair of back-to-back KO wins in the Pro Elite Cage, taking out Ray Lopez and Travis Fulton. Palelei, a UFC veteran, is currently riding seven-straight wins, most recently taking out Bob Sapp in 12 seconds.
The original UFC Lightweight Champion, Jens Pulver (26-16-1) comes into the ONE FC cage going 2-2 in his last four fights. The former champion now faces undefeated Filipino featherweight prospect Eric Kelly (7-0). Pulver most recently defeated Jesse Thorton via unanimous decision this past April, while Kelly posted a unanimous decision victory against Bae Young Kwon at the Malaysian promotion’s fourth offering.

First person to say this will springboard Arlovski into a title run in North America is getting shanked. Just a warning.
@Bsbiz :D
…and then I will soccer kick you once you go down.
make sure you wait until the ref says it’s cool.
I wonder how many more fighters they can fit onto the card that should have retired ages ago…
andy arlo has a chance, IMHO, but doesnt he have a glass jaw?
You’re giving him too much credit. At this point it’s more like wet tissue paper.
just wondering why didnt Arlovski ever move down to LHW?? You think it would rejuvinate his career if he did?? Shi* how old is he now?
Why Andrei is ancient. He’s a total methuselah. A veritable dinosaur. Why he’s…33. Sarcasm the lost art. No going to LHW probably won’t rejuvinate his career. That’s my opinion. The pitbull’s days of glory are long behind him.
