Impressive 1st rnd for weidman
Referee sh!t the bed on that.
That was one of the worst/latest stoppages I’ve seen. Great job done by Weidman, terrible job done by Josh Rosenthal. I feel for Mark.
What the fcuk was Rosenthal waiting for? Munoz ate 15 shots. The last 5 or 6 with zombie video game blood spatter.
That was a vicious elbow. Very good win for Weidman
That a boy, Weidman. How can you not give him the title shot? Bisping needs to take lessons. This is a true warrior and a future champion. He actually WANTS to fight, Silva NOW! He doesn’t need to give the Michael Bisping post fight speech of “oh, I’m only a couple more fights away!”
With Munoz out of the picture, that leaves Belcher, Bisping and Weidman. Let Belcher and Bisping fight for contendership and give Weidman the next shot at The Spider.
WHAT A DOMINANT PERFORMANCE!
good call
Great performance by Weidman even though I feel Munoz has been overhyped & was a bit overrated, and I like Munoz it’s just the truth
I’d like to see Weidman face someone who’s a bit more of a striker first before taking on Silva…The only striker he’s faced is Sakara and yes he beat him but Sakara is not the top of the chain either tho.
I’d like to see:
Weidman vs Belfort
Bisping vs Belcher…or any combination of those fighters really
I agree, weidman looks great but he does need to be tested by a high level striker. Belfort is a great striker but I think Belcher is the best all round guy at 185. So I think belcher weidman in #1 contender fight, bisping belfort to see if bisping has the chin to fight silva.
no man, Mark was not in shape, elbow injury, foot injury, and on top of that dificult 19 lbs weight cut in 24 hrs but he will be back.
