UFC welterweight Che Mills confirmed via twitter earlier today that he is slated to meet Duane Ludwig when the promotion heads to the Capital FM Arena in Nottingham, England on September 29.
Both men will look to rebound from recent disappointing performances coming behind strong runs.
Mills (14-5) was most recently brutalized by highly touted prospect Rory MacDonald at UFC 145 in April. However, the Brit was riding five-fight win-streak prior to the bout, which included an promotional debut with a 40-second knockout victory of Chris Cope.
Ludwig (21-13), is currently on a two-fight skid with stoppage losses to Josh Neer and ,most recently, Dan Hardy at UFC 146. Upon returning to the UFC’s welterweight division, “Bang” was able to put together a pair of impressive victories over Nick Osipczak and The Ultimate Fighter 7 winner Amir Sadollah.
While as per usual it remains to be seen, there is a good chance both men are fighting for their jobs at this point.

God bless Joe Silva. This fight has about a 0% chance of hitting the mat (except for after a ko). It also has a 90% chance of one or both fighters being replaced due to injury apparently.
Haha. True. If Mills loses this fight he is moving down the ladder, big time. Ludwig has been a stepping stone for years because he is great to test the toughness of a fighter. I think Ludwig is out the door after this fight unless it gets fight of the night, which can very well happen.
Ludwig did just sign a 4-fight extension with the company. So it’d have to be a terrible fight.
Yea I dont think that ludwig would get cut from the UFC if he lost he has been with them for years and always brings it and the UFC kept guys like matt brown ehen they had three fight skids
exactly
Yeah the UFC just LOVES, and is loyal to, anyone who is guaranteed to stand and bang. See Leonard Garcia.
