  • Not the most star-studded event, but that is a pretty solid card for our Brazilian fans.

Yup, went from PPV of the year (and a huge way to promote the TUF Brazil fighters) to a PPV TUF Finale card that will probably do the lowest PPV numbers of the year but has the potential to be one of the most exciting cards of the year as well.

I know and its weird that russow is the only.American. prob one of the least known hws that werdum could’ve fought. I’m assuming they are throwing werdum a bone for in front of his Brazilian fans obviously, and I guess they figured they’d be better off giving the countryman an easy win at home instead of making a huge fight. And it also allows russow to move up the ladder so I guess it works out both ways. I’m just trying to figure out/talk myself into ways russow can win!

Keep it on the feet and “Duffy” him, no way should Russow take this to the ground.

      • Chris Leslie says:

Just tell yourself that Russow is on an 11-fight winning streak and that this is the biggest fight of his career. You find a lot out about a fighter when you challenge him like this. He wasn’t ready when he faced Kharitonov years ago, but maybe he is now. I’m picking Werdum still, but you can never count out a guy when he’s facing the biggest challenge of his career. Funny things can happen in those situations.

Chris – sold! You should really pick Russow man, he has a lot of things going for him! Haha… But I will be rooting for him, and maybe I’ll put a few sheckles on him when I’m in Vegas this wknd, so if he wins I’ll owe you one. Besides he’s also a cop, and good guys always win….right? :)

Will – I like the Duffee idea!…but how sick would it be for corn fed white boy to win on the ground in Bwwazil!
