not a bad pay day for a lot of guys. granted, they get the @#*% kicked out of em sometimes but with sponsorships and bonuses, alot of these guys can do alright if they fight a couple times a year. i’d be insterested to see how much rampage made in sponsors cuz that guys a marketing companys wet dream. i’d be surprised if he didn’t make a bulk of his pay from that.

  • Rydawg says:

Guillard made out well $80,000 for 36 seconds of fighting sounds pretty good to me!

  • Raffy says:

Gonzaga made out like bandit. I didnt see the fight but it sounded like he did’nt any shots at all just a quick submission and a quick 100 g’s. Man thats got to rub Chris Lytle the wrong way who got his face rearanged. I wonder if the fighters get all the medical work needed to heal their injuries paid for by the ufc. They’ve got to. Other wise some of these guys are going in debt over these fights

  • joel b says:

dont worry justin mcully you will get there someday far off from now. also what up with Aurelio making the same as tyson griffin

  • 2girls2cups says:

aurelio prolly had a good enough resume to negotiate a higher contract than griffen, plus griffen might be towards the end of his current contract.

  • seemore says:

wow…something is seriously wrong when Cote makes 32 grand and is slated to get a title shot next, and veritable no-namers like Miller, and deushbags like Guillard make 20…Gonzaga makes 100??!! thats insane…

  • hamsterwheel says:

yeah i know, why the hell would you pay gonzaga 100,000!!!!!!!!!! C’mon this IS insane. I think fighters who lose shouldn’t be making as much as the winners. Thats BS

  • hamsterwheel says:

i wonder how much quinton would have gotten if he had won If he got 225,000 just to show.

  • Dietrich says:

Its usually double so Rampage lost $225k.

  • rutdog says:

I think Gonzaga did his negotiating at the right time, when he was the favorite to beat Couture. Maybe if the UFC had a crystal ball, they would have signed him for about 1/5th of that. Oh well, poor Lytle.

  • Dietrich says:

Gabe is a smart man. He asked Mark Hunt what to do against Cro Cop and he did it.

  • Dietrich says:

    Just in…
CSAC got Alexandre Franca Nogueira for bolderone from WEC bout last month.

  • KOuch says:

    Tyson Griffin should get more.

  • jpm says:

I would have paid Koscheck more than that NOT to show………..like Chris Leben said…… “your a real exciting fighter Josh”

  • JAI says:

Alot of guys made some pretty good money on this card. Glad to see Guilard back to his winning ways.

  • Dannyboy says:

So are there ever any PPV monetary amounts + sponsorship money, etc? There is a HUGE reason the UFC hasn’t gone public. They’d have to disclose their financial status, executive salaries, etc. I’d sure love to see how much Dana makes compared to the fighters.

  • 2girls2cups says:

alot of people seem to ask why this guy’s gettin paid this and that guy’s gettin paid that. they don’t negotiate for each fight, they do 4 fight contracts so sometimes it seems like someone got underpaid but it’s cuz they signed the contract when they weren’t as big. and vice versa, look at gonzaga, he prolly re-signed his contract after beating cro-cop when they had big plans for him and now that he’s fallen off, they still gotta pay him. it works both ways so it’s hard to bash dana and the ufc for ripping the guys off since that’s what they agreed to. plus, if they put on a stellar performance, they get nice bonuses and it gives them room to negotiate for more pay in the future. in addition, these guys make good money in sponsors. granted, for what they go thru compared to other professional athletes, it seems like peanuts but the sport is still growing. yes, i’m sure dana makes a grip, but he’s done a ton for the sport and continues to do so, should he work for free?

  • Rydawg says:

I guess destroying Cro-cop w/ his own weapon of choice gives you some leeway to demand some big $$$!!! good for Gabe sucks for Lytle he earned that $14,000 the hard way.

  • Kows666 says:

The Gonzaga/McCully payday does look a little lop-sided.

  • Dietrich says:

The only thing more one sided is Justin’s belief in the need for a rematch.

  • LEeroy says:

What do you guys really care bout what these guys make
