UFC 149 Update: Aldo Injured, Barao vs. Faber Shifted From UFC 148

The injury bug has apparently struck the UFC yet again, this time it was UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo. Rather than find a new opponent for Koch, the UFC has instead shifted one of its two title bouts from UFC 148 to UFC 149′s main event.
Urijah Faber will now face Renan Barao for the interim bantamweight bout two weeks later than planned in Calgary, Alberta.
Sportsnet UFC Central analyst “Showdown” Joe Ferraro first reported the story.

this sucks i was pumped for the double header in vegas ! this fucking sucks
Perfect chance to scrap the silly aldo/koch fight. Too bad. If anything they should have koch fight kz for top contender (even though koch prob hasn’t even earned that yet). Oh well. Anyway, this injury thing is astonishing.
What a disappointment! all these injuries is just absurd.

Aldo vs. Koch was barely pay per view worthy Faber vs. Baroa is a Fight Night scrap. Calgary is getting screwed while the T.O. card just gets better. How all you scalper assholes who scooped up all the tickets feelin now, oh you’ll still sell them but not for near as much.
Now they need Koch to fight Korean Zombie or Chad “money” Mendes.
KZ sounds right. i don’t think Mendes gets another shot so soon after Aldo made him catch the Rio express outta town.
Ufc must stop selling tickets way in advance with all this injuries! People attending pay a lot of money, and the prices even though the card is very altered, never changes! Ufc 148 originally had Bisping-Boetch, Cruz-Faber, Lee-Franklin, now istead of those fights we only have Lee-Cote left…for now…

No, I meant the fights that have been removed or changed..now we have tito-forest as the co main event, when the tickets were sold this fight was the 1rst or second in the PPV
