UFC President Dana White announced in the post-fight press conference that heavyweight champion Junior Dos Santos and Cain Velasquez will likely headline UFC 152. Also on the card, BJ Penn is expected to answer Rory MacDonald’s challenge as the co-headlining fight.
Dos Santos and Velasquez previous met at the first UFC on Fox card in November. Dos Santos and Velasquez were both injured heading into the fight, a fight that Dos Santos took Velasquez’s title in a 1:04.
UFC 152 is scheduled to take place September 22 in Toronto, Ontario. No venue has been announced at this time.

Cain is good, I’ll give him that, but he’s no Jr. Dos Santos. Cain let me down in the first fight. I thought Jr. would win, don’t get me wrong, but I thought Cain would put up a much better fight. Next time Jr. well display his true talents.. Jr. in the second round….
Sorry Cain let you down… I’m sure it would have been a much longer and more satisfying fight for us all if Junior Dos Santos decided not to throw any punches to Cain’s temple. So really, Dos Santos is the one that let you down, that bastard…
I may have to try and make a trip to Toronto in September, these 2 fights are certainly a great way to start off the card. Fingers crossed this injury bug that has been going around doesn’t hit any of these guys.
I was kinda hopin that penn would change his mind bout this fight… Ugh. I’m thinkin I might hafta make the trip as well.
Monster card.
