I have Corey taking this one. I think his size will be too much if h can keep th fight standing.
can you guys update just a little faster?
The first round of the first bout just concluded. They started the first fight a bit later than expected but it should be pretty rapid from here on out.
I don’t know if my friend is coming back in time for me to see it. I don’t have 40 dollars. We split it twenty/twenty….i hope i see it live somehow
If Forrest Loses tonight, then I want to see wanderlei silva beat Rampage.
Eric Tom Frenzy always update the events fast! Usually before all th other sites.
and wow…corey hill lost!
wow… I didn’t see that coming
I wasn’t sure if Melvin still had what it takes to fight in the UFC, guss he does.
guillard is **** hot but they need to put him up against some real competition like din thomas joe lauzon or clay guida.
Guillard could be great if we can trust him to focus.Corey too…
For the first time in his UFC career, a Jorge Gurgel did not go to a decision. Now, bye bye.
ALRIGHT COLE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Let’s go, McCully.
McCully, you let me down, you suck now. Kidding, but dang, dude.
Sorry Justin lost but glad Napao won and neither got hurt. Congrats Gabe!!!
who going 2 win rampage or forrest
hello
Rampage is going to take it, but I think it won’t be easy.
Page by SLAM in the 3rd!
Minority opinion—Forrest he beat Monson and Chael Sonnen. Rampage isn’t a better grappler than either of them.
Did someone just mention the Snowman?!! HAHA! You just convinced me! Forrest will have his way with Rampage on the ground where nobody else could!
Forrest via flying gogo in the 2nd!
Are you serious? You think forrest will win cause he beat Monson and Sonnen? Neither of them can stand with Rampage
So, how many times have i heard Griffen talk about how he’s going to finish fights, but it seems like he never does.
i was joking. Forrest has almost 0 chance. I think he would have to stand on the outside…jab and kick from distance…avoid takedowns/clinches/trading punches..and try to eke out a decision
Yah Griffin always goes the distance. Long and boring fights. No power
Josh is messing his face up
gotta say Lytle has alot of heart
Griffin has been training with Randy Couture, so Rampage isnt gonna walk in, and walk out
if he wants to remain champ he is gonna have to take it to a decision. Griffin wont be knock out, and I dont think Rampage has a really good ground game, As for the Snowman fight with Griffin, Jeff is probably the best ground guy UFC ever had. And he should have been the UFC Heavyweight Champ, but like Couture said Tim Sylvia doesnot fight to win he fights not to lose. And Griffin Took him down not many people can beat a man that beat four or five guys in one night. But That is just my opinion not trying to step on anyones toes. Thanks
Glad Joe Daddy won, wish Lytle could have got a lucky KO punch in the third. Let’s go, Cote.
I have posted all along that I knew Forrest was the underdog. With the way some think it must have been Quentin Jackson that was the inspiration for the Will Smith Movie. Monson is a similar sized guy as Rampage with freakish strength. So Forest has seen freakish strength and he has overcome it. With Chael he has seen a supposed world class wrestler. Personally I hate Chael Sonnen but I will give him the respect he is due and he has done 10x the things Rampage has done in wrestling and he has overcome that too. Thats what the post meant.
If this was K-1 and all about “standing” then Forest would have 1 chance in 4 or 5.
Is there a final on Griffin vs Rampage yet?
It’s updated already but Forrest beat Jackson in a very exciting and close unanimous decision.
Will someone please tell me how a judge had forrest winning 4 of the rounds??????? I had Rampage definitely winning 1 and 3 and probably 4. He didn’t do as much damage as forrest did in the second when he hurt his knee, but it seemed like all the stars were aligned for griffin.
Kris,
I watched the fight and had it 47-47 draw with forrest winning 10-8 in the second and 10-9 in the 5th. What do you think?
Good. Another overloaded mouth gets shut. Rampage’s remarks on The Ultimate Fighter turned me against him. Bad sportsmanship when his team was getting waxed by Griffin’s. Amir taking CB down with an armbar x2 was priceless.
Hey doesnt jackson owe Forrest his purse…..lol
Great point, Dave!
That would have been funny if Forrest would have asked for his Purse….lol
Probably would have been a street fight right then and there…as long as we are talking UFC on this fight night, who you guys like on September 6? Rashaad Evans or Liddell?
I am going to have to go with Liddell
that is hoping he doesnt take Evans lightly
I haven’t seen much of Evans except for when he was on Ultimate Fighter and I thought he was sloppy…I’m sure he is polished up quite a bit now but Liddell is aging obviously…could be a great fight or could be just ugly…
I am a fan of Hackleman and his training but Evans finds a way to win.Chucks injury slows his game plan.
Joe,
Thanks for the backup on Monson.
once chuck beats evens he will fight griffin the man he once coached
DirtyDan,
here’s a crazy 2 am theory of the year. Should Tim beat Fdor Randy will be looking for a final payday. And he will look right at Forrest for a NYE showdown.Talk about big money fight.
big tim is to slow to not get his ass caught in a submission…
Congrats to Forrest he won a great fight, I thought rampage would take it but i didnt count forrest out completly other then the main event, not the greatest night of fights for the UFC
Hoping now that Cote will get a shot at Anderson, not that cote can take Anderson, Hes jus too much, but gotta love the canadian fighters EH! and on another note and the wrong spot to post it but that Heavyweight belt that Fedor is gonna be wearing looks like crap anyone disagree??
ravine – that belt looks so bad – looks like a replica wwe belt. Fedor will dominate Tim. Once it goes to the ground Sylvia is in big trouble and i can see this one being over quite quickly.
I think cote should fight marquadt and whoever wins that should get a title shot. I was really suprised Cote won that fight, i thought he was goin to get tapped in the first round
not seeing the card and now just reading the results was the split dec. victory by Patrick Cote for real?
To all,
For the record I didn’t know the ! would lead to reformatting…Hope others learn from my goof.
