Hamman will look to bounce back from a brutal knockout loss to Constantinos Philippou at UFC 140. Currently 2-3 in the UFC, The California native’s run under the Zuffa banner has been a virtual roller coaster, constantly alternating between wins and losses since his debut in 2009. Despite his record, the Dynamix MMA product has taken home two fight of the night bonuses, improving his stock with fans and Zuffa brass alike.
Kuiper also looks to rebound after suffering his first career loss against via unanimous decision to Rafael Natal at UFC 143. Prior to his promotional debut, the Dutchman was riding an 11-fight win streak, which included ten stoppages.
While the bout has yet to be officially announced by the promotion, Hemman’s reps at Alchemist Management have confirmed that the fight is what’s being slated for their client.
