Good point. I’m not diggin’ some of these wrestlers in MMA. The takedowns are nice but so many wrestlers seem to have forgotten the great art of G&P. I’m not saying it’s easy to take someone down and beat the **** out of them. I’m just saying I hate seeing guys win by takedowns and manipulating their opponent on the ground by pushing their body weight on him. Much more exciting when people get taken down and pounded.

As far as MMA goes, not at all. MMA definitely projected him into the public a lot more than he previously was with just kick boxing. Cung trained a friend of mine which is why I new who he was in the first place years ago. He did have a following before he jumped into MMA. Now he has a bigger following because of MMA. His unique style makes him fun to watch but he needs to hit the weights and work on some wrestlin/jitsu. Like I said, I’m bias.

I am bias because I have met Cung several times over the last 9 years. He is a great person. He has dominated his other opponents before making the transition to MMA. There are a lot of guys who would destroy him but do not doubt his skills. He is very talented and unfortunately underrated. Maybe with time he can change some minds. Shamrock lost because he sucks now. What is a sell out anyway? Is it someone who succeeds and then ventures into other areas of life?
