UFC 146 is changing again with Mark Hunt falling to injury and Lavar Johnson (pictured) filling in against Stefan Struve. MMAJunkie first reported the news earlier today with UFC officials confirming.
Lavar Johnson is 2-0 since joining the UFC after being brought over from Strikeforce. The heavy handed heavyweight has finished both Pat Barry and Joey Beltran, and will be looking to do the same to Stefan Struve.
The all heavyweight UFC 146 maincard takes place May 26 live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena. The main event will feature a heavyweight title fight between champion Junior Dos Santos and former champion Frank Mir.

Hunt is fun to watch, but after Johnson’s last two fights, I would prefer to see him against Struve hands-down.
Oh man I’m sorry Struve
He just fought like last week and now this ….. I was kinda skeptical of Lavar when he was with Strikeforce but since he and Hunt have been in the UFC I am believing in them all of a sudden .
End result of the fight will be the same, Struve on the wrong side of KO of the night.
I really like Lavar as a fighter and person, but this “opportunity” is just throwing him to the wolves. This is a big mis-match in my opinion, and I expect Struve to crush his short-lived momentum.
I think this could be really good fight if struve doesn’t get backed into the cage , thats where Barry and beltran made there mistakes.
Struve should def have an advantage in the ground game should it go there.
