Really can’t wait for this, as good as any mma card this year
is there going to be another fight added to the main card? i cant see there just being three fights shown on telly, but even if there was i cant wait to watch it, and it will be even better if fitch herring and kenny won, cant wait for this card!!

Huge test for Lesnar. I think he will out wrestle him and overpower him on the ground but I also think Lesnars chin is gonna be tested !
I don’t see Huerta beating Florian………
It would not surprise me AT ALL if Fitch beat St-pierre…..
Huerta’s gunna dominate florian…just like diego dominated him in tuf finale….I think lesnar could take herring…prob out wrestle him…I see gsp taking the title back tho…Jon Fitch is a warrior but hes not as well rounded as GSP or as skilled.
The other main card bout is supposed to be Jason Mcdonald vs. Demian Maia. I can see GSP winning by unanimous decision. I think Lesnar has a better chance against Herring than he did against Mir. While Herring is no joke, he doesn’t have Mir’s jiu-jitsu skills, which were the deciding factor against Lesnar. Herring has said he wouldn’t mind standing up with Lesnar, but that could be a huge mistake, given how easily Lesnar took down and pounded Mir. This will be Huerta’s second real test, after Guida. Florian’s experience gives him the edge here. I don’t see Huerta coming out and dominating Florian, whose only losses are to WW Diego Sanchez and former champ Sean Sherk. I say Florian by GnP, similar to the win over Lauzon.
I CAN’T WAIT FOR THIS CARD. IVE BEEN STOKED ABOUT IT SINCE THEY FIRST RUMORED KENNY AND ROGER. IM MORE STOKED ABOUT THAT ONE THEN THE GSP AND FITCH FIGHT.
he lost to drew fickett too….Huerta’s only loss comes from a dislocated jaw…from Ryan Schultz..who is a badass…It’ll be a good fight…can’t wait. I hope GSP vs Fitch isn’t a wrestling match, those can get boring pretty quick..
I dunno Cole… When Florian lost to Diego that was a different weight class. Florian is really good at lightweight and actually shows improvement with every fight. He went the distance with Sean Sherk and put on a good fight all the way to the end almost submitting him a couple times. He’s gotten WAY better since then and Huerta may be just a bit too c*cky for his own good. However, I was impressed with his win over Guida…even though he should have beaten him more handily as I think Florian would have destoryed Guida.
We’ll see though… either way a good card if we get to see the prelims.
DANNYBOY I COMPLETLY DISAGREE. THOUGH FLORIAN HAS GOTTEN BETTER AND HUERTA SHOULD HAVE BEAT GUIDA EASIER BUT CLAY IS A PRETTY TOUGH DUDE. BUT I THINK KENNY WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO BEAT GUIDA
im i the only one who gives brock no chance against herring? all i can see is lesnar getting knocked clean out in the first, in my opinion herring is the best HW in the ufc and if dana is trying to baby brock then hes doing a crap job

Why would you say lesnar would get knocked out? He has a wrestling background so do you really think hes going to stand and trade with Herring? I like Herring but im not real sure of his ground game…Lesnar only loss like 2 matches out of 100 in college so his wrestling is pretyy good….I’d say this is a better match up for Brock then I would say it was for Herring..
To be honest, I couldn’t believe they are puttting a top contender like Herring against Lesnar … I thought after Mir, they would have given him Eddy Sanchez or someone like that……….
You guys might think WWE is a big joke but Lesnar was one of those wrestlers who took HUGE bumps every match ….. I’ve seen him take chair shots like nobody else and that famous backwards moonsault where his 300 pound body landed on his face and neck, got a concussion and finished the match with angle ……. He has a huge head and jaw and I would bet he can take a punch, even from Herring.
HA HA IT SOUNDS LIKE YOUR SAYING SINCE HE TOOK A “FAKE” BEATING IN WWE HE CAN TAKE A “REAL” BEATING IN MMA. IM SURE HE CAN BUT LETS NOT COMPARE UFC AND WWE HA HA

dont u think herring nos that all brock is guna do is run at him and go for the take down? herring is guna catch him with a big kick an its guna be goodnight, dont get me wrong i like brock but herring is far more skilled then brock an probley alot smarter, also herring is no mug on the ground hes not afraid to take shots like mir was so hes not just guna role over and die if brock does take him down, people talk about lesnar and act like he can take people down at will, i just think lesnar is in for a shock when he fights herring maybe im wrong but i can see lesnar needing dental work after this fight,
Johnboy I partly agree due to MMA experience. However, Herring has been ROUGH on the ground since he started in the UFC. I still remember Joe Rogan making fun of him in his UFC debut because of his poor and extremely SLOW ground skills. If Herring hasn’t learned how to sprawl by the time this fight comes he is in serious trouble because i DO think Lesnar can take a punch. Herring’s only chance is his average submission game. He’s lost a step and this fight may just prove it.

Brock really needs to win this fight. If he loses, people are going to thrash the guy to hell and say he doesn’t belong in MMA. Hopefully Huerta wins but I doubt it. I like Huerta and Florian a lot so it sucks one has to lose. As far as GSP vs Fitch……I want Fitch to win and find it insane that people think he stands no chance. GSP has not proven to be invincible….especially losing to Serra. GSP has a better history of wins over higher caliber opponents but I whole heartedly believe Fitch could take the title home.

Yea after hearing Huerta’s story…You really start to like the guy…I mean come on, the dude’s an orphan…and hes got the warrior spirit!!
Yeah no doubt Huerta’s a likable guy but he may meet his first match with Florian. Florian is a monster and I think is currently #2 in the division. I doubt he can beat BJ though.
I think florians nickname should be “the stiller” cuz that mutha fuka looks exactly like ben stiller haha…hes a good fighter, I just always think of that when I see him fight

One hell of a card! I think FLorian will pull out a W which could be fight of the year! I find it crazy that most people think GSP will walk through Fitch. Dont get me wrong, I think GSP will win but he’ll definately be tested! Cant wait for this card!
