He trains old school and has refused to utilize the new techniques that others use. He's arrogant, dickish and I hope Serra at least gives him a good fight before (most likely) losing to him. Serra was a great corner coach...no denying that one. Hughes, however? His stint on TUF is when I started disliking him. That was back when they had stupid games to challenge the fighters and he would just sit around with that stupid grin on his face and talking sh*t. I LOVED Hughes before TUF. Hughes has not come out with the tradmark "Matt Hughes Staredown" since the Royce Gracie fight. He just comes out and basically keeps his head down. He doesnt even look the opponent in the eyes during the refs instructions. Besides Pat Miletich....Matt Hughes is my favorite fighter and I feel so bad for him to see him fight anymore. The passion seems like it is gone, but he keeps convincing himself that its still there. My opinion only, im not Hughes so I cant say. Yeah, thats what I think Curtis.
