In the main event, former UFC middleweight champion Evan Tanner took on The Ultimate Fighter 3 middleweight tournament winner Kendall Grove. In the co-main event, Amir Sadollah faced semifinals opponent and tournament favorite CB Dollaway in a rematch for The Ultimate Fighter 7 middleweight tournament title.

GO AMIR! CB knows how to approach Amir much better now after his loss. Regardless of people’s feelings for CB, the guy is a great wrestler and strong…..even Rampage said, “He’s really good.” (with a surprised look on his face.) I’ll take Rampage’s word over anyone’s opinion on this matter. Still, I hope Amir delivers some of his insane kicks and avoids CB’s takedowns. If Amir avoids the take down and stays off his back, I think CB will be helpless and lose. Both fighters have potential and I hope to see them both succeed. GO AMIR!!!! KO kick to the FACE!

I guess we need to hope for some flash ko’s. McFedries would be good but so would Horn Lister
18minutes! Stoked! Still pixxed about Godz of War so be patient with me.
does anyone know who amir has been training with for the last month or two..it would help the outcome of my picks……..cb is with arizona combat so i think i got him winning right now……war riddle!
The Gunslinger – Not sure. I was on a call with him and CB yesterday but joined it just as it was ending and unfortunately didn’t have a chance to ask them any questions.
Yea FiXxeR, just part of our filter. Someone used it the other day too and it was funny it got censored.

Rumors are circulating that the Tim Credeur vs. Cale Yarbrough bout has been canceled. No official announcement has yet been made.
What happened with Tim… why did it get canceled
I guess Cale got scared and didnt show up
UPDATE – Tim Credeur tested postive and fight was canceled
Dave, Md – Working to figure out what’s going on, I’m hearing it’s been canceled but that’s all I know right now. I’ll pass news along as soon as I know more.
Word is Arroyo broke his ankle at the end of the 1st rd, still came out in the 2nd pulled guard b/c he couldnt stand on it and fight was stopped while brown was in arroyo’s guard
Credeur tested positive for adderall
CBONE
I doubt thats what happened but thanks
And Thanks KRIS
Kris
any word on what happened with the Tim and Cale fight?
Riddle kicks is butt
they got the results back before the fight even started that doesnt make sense cause they do that right before the fight no way the results are back in time for the fight????? did they make an announcement abot this ??????
I am still waiting on KRIS to report
Still nothing. Scouring for information but haven’t been able to dig anything up yet.
normally if the weigh-ins happen then the fight happens as well. its pretty crazy to see a canceled fight
You know I agree w/ Joel it’s rare a fight is canceled after the weigh-ins occur. Not to mention a positive drug test is highly unlikely because it takes more than a few hours. This is usually a freak accident or something of that nature.
It should be very interesting to find out what happened
here’s the reason for the cancellation

From UFC.com:
Saturday night’s preliminary bout between middleweights Tim Credeur and Cale Yarbrough at The Palms in Las Vegas was cancelled by the Nevada State Athletic Commission after traces of the prescription drug Adderall were found in a pre-fight drug test administered to Credeur.
thats crazy i cant believe people are still stupid enough to use banned substances when they know everyone and their mother has been getting busted for it……..this is nuts……
to all fighters DONT FREAKING USE!!!!!!!
…..thats all have a great fight tonight!!!
Damn CBONE you were right… I thought that it would have been other reasons besides a banned substance
my question is………..
how come on any other fight night (PPV) it takes a couple of days to get the results?
easy there Joel lol. Drug is prescribed for ADHD which having trained as a wrestler and a fighter it’s really common for guys to have to take it. I was prescribed it myself and it really has no positive effects(if you have ADHD it just calms you down) it actually makes it harder to fight/wrestle because your blood pressure is going crazy and your endurance is killed. Consequently, I quit taking it in season or during hard training periods, but I did have to tell the admins of the test and provide documentation for my usage of it. He did notify the commission beforehand and it says no penalty will be issued. So this sounds like it was more to protect the fighter rather than a performance enhancement issue.
he was using a perscription drug and they knew about it.. there were still traces in his system when they retested so the fight was cancelled. No punishment will be issued since the athletic commission knew about it and it was a perscribed drug that he was on.. Read the article people, he wasn’t cheating
It took less time because he notified them beforehand. If you tell the judges it will possibly be in your system and it could affect the fighter(either way) they can rush the test.
Ok that makes sense to me
Diego is such a badass!
what a knock out!
lets go CB and amir lets have fight of the night!
No problem Dave I get my information 1st hand but can’t give away my sources of course.. LOL
come on CBONE i wanna know your source…lol
way to go Amir …. That was a tap
he tapped…wat a cry baby dollaway is acting like a jerk
he was acting like a cry baby… CB that is
amir is like the funniest fighter ever:)
he will give Forrest a run for his money … being the funniest UFC guy that is not in a fight
Great performance by Sadollah. As they said in the broadcast, I think CB was more disappointed with himself than anything and I think he wanted his tap back.
It’s hard not to be amazed at what Amir did.
it looked like his training camp wasnt like a big one ….they didnt have fighter shirts on for him they just had normal ufc shirts on
with a really good quality training team amir could be a real strong contender…….also im very excited about next season, now that its going back to the two weight class versions
CB just made himself look like a ****, he tapped and should have just done it gracefully!!
totally agree gator…war tanner!
I agree also gator
kendalls height and reach could end up being tanners downfall..i hope not though
evan has a great heart but i dont know if he has the desire to fight as much as he used to
…..kendall definitly looked good in this fight though…i think training with bj instead of ortiz made a huge difference
wow Kendall looks sharp but Tanner is not going out w/o a fight.
That was a great fight Tanner never gave up and he also showed me that he has alot of heart.. But Kendall looked great ..
Kendall needs to change his nick name there is only 1 Spider and its not him
definitly agree dave……..kendall looked pretty tan how bout kendall “da orange” Grove…jk
Lister over Horn…Wow
Matt Riddell and CB Dolloway are both from Tempe and come out of the same camp. Did you notice that in the bio clips before the fight CB talks about and is shown partying by the pool and just fooling around. Riddell on the other hand before and after his fight said that since leaving the show he has been training with AZ combat sports and is training even harder now. Well, it showed. After watching the two AZ fighters I am thoroughly impressed with Riddell and come away thinking Dolloway is some sort of ASU frat boy meat head that has no strategy in the octagon. If he did he would not have fallen prey to the same submission from the same fighter twice in a row. To top it off he tapped prematurly out of reflex and then whined about it. I came into the fight rooting for CB but left with the taste of **** in my mouth. It makes me wonder which one is spending the most time with AZ combat and it makes me hope that next season’s fighters have not just talent but character as well.
man I was hopin Tanner was gonna destroy Grove
I really wanted Tanner to win. I think it was a split decision b/c Tanner was persistent and working for the knockout. He also got some pretty good takedowns and solid punches. I hope he gets one more fight.
As a side note, didn’t it look like Dana was pissed that CB lost? He did not look pleased at all. Anyone know if Jesse was in the audience?
Sanchez looked focused and ready. Like to see he and Koscheck lock up again. I can’t stand that fat-mouthed little ****. Can’t believe Lister-horn wasn’t on main card. Would’ve liked to have seen that.
CB’s face after he got up was PRICELESS. his facial expression was sooooo funny
OK I am really bummed that Jesse did not fight. I don’t care how he behaves – that’s for the legal system to work out. I am not exactly looking to invite these fellows up for tea or to babysit my kids. Come on! CB lost on the show, fair and square. To give him a second chance proved to be the wrong decision – he tapped too early and cried foul. JT deserved to be there. I would have really enjoyed the JT/Amir pairing. I had already SEEN the CB/Amir match – and CB lost! It was “de ja vu all over again.”
Dominowarlock,
JT acted insane the way he did because of alcohol and he needs help. He became a complete violent idiot harassing people and there is still missing details the UFC spared for the sake of his embarassment. His actions and words were unacceptable. A drunk man’s words are a sober man’s thoughts. JT was screaming, “Do you know who I am? I’m an Ultimate fighter!” In other words, he thinks he is special and can act however he wants. Aside from being a boring wrestler he acts like a fool. How was he going to act if he won the finale and got drunk that night? He is one of those guys who drinks himself out of control. It’s been proven……by JT himself.
Dominowarlock,
When I seen that I was not surprised at all. What surprised me was Dana saying something like take a few months get your mind right and then we will look at you fighting in the UFC.
NO NO NO!! How is that possible. He should be on the first bus to EliteXC!
I don’t see how you can mess up that type of opportunity and still be taken care of.
Curtis,
I agree. On the other hand people do make mistakes and sometimes forgiveness is a good thing.(not in my book though) JT was just going to get a bigger ego and continuing to fight for the UFC was not right for him. People can call Dana a **** all they want but he did the right thing. If any of you here were in charge of any kind of business and saw someone you were about to hire go out and act recklessly because the individual was intoxicated, I think you might question your decision on hiring this person based on character/personality flaws. JT probably got off easy. If I acted the way he did with my luck I would have been brutalized by the police then paying a couple grand for an attorney to lessen/drop my charge.
Ko,
It only makes sense. You have to take care of your investment. What if he was to do that once he had 2 fights in the UFC? What if he was to really hurt someone… Look at the headlines that War Machine caused…
I AGREE WITH KO. IT WASN’T A BIG LOSE ANY WAY. AND IM SURE DANA KNEW IT. SO HE NO PROBLEM DOING IT. BUT I AGREE YOU GOTTA WHATS BEST FOR THE BUSINESS
