Forrest Griffin Talks Upcoming Title Fight, Harderst Hitters, and More
Chris Fries and The JDH of Tagg Radio’s The Lights Out Show interviewed the #1 UFC Light Heavyweight contender, Forrest Griffin on their last show (volume 132). Forrest speaks out on his experience as a coach on The Ultimate Fighter, his upcoming title fight against Rampage Jackson and a few other interesting things.
ON HIS UPCOMING UFC TITLE FIGHT AGAINST RAMPAGE JACKSON
“If I have to hit him with a payphone, hey man, that’s just part of my style.”
ON WHO WAS THE PERSON WHO HIT HIM THE HARDEST
“I guess you gotta go with Kith (Jardine)…It didn’t look that impressive, but he caught me on the button. In practice, Chuck Liddell comes to mind. He hit he once and my mouth piece split in half…It was like plastic just rolling around in my mouth.”.
ON CONSIDERING A MOVE BACK TO HEAVYWEIGHT
“I don’t have the chin or the power to fight at heavyweight. Everybody hit harder than I did, which really sucked.”

hope forrest beats jackson hes a likeable guy and i think he can do it.

I hope Forrest KOs Rampage but I think the outcome will be the exact opposite.
Forrest and Rampage could be a good fight, but I think that Rampage will win. I believe the fight could go a lot like the Henderson-Rampage fight. Could be a unexpected decision. I think they both stand a good chance but odds are going to be for Rampage by a fair margin. I like Forrest and he will be a contender for a while.
I cant wait to figt this chump, He punches like a crack head and I will finsh him in 2 minutes, Believe that. My boy CB got the fight tonight too.

sorry to say but Forrest is getting koed on July 5………….too bad I really like the guy and am rooting for him.
Forrest just comes across like aa guy you would have to hit with a 2×4…I think he does what Chuck couldn’t do.
