UFC Announces Three Events in Canada for 2012, Jose Aldo to Headline Calgary Card

The UFC announced that it will be visiting Canada three times in 2012 today. The UFC announced UFC 149, which will take place July 21 in Calgary, UFC 152 for September 22, and UFC 154 for Montreal on November 17.
UFC 149 will likely be headlined by UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo facing the winner of Dustin Poirier vs. Chan Sung Jung at UFC on FUEL 3. UFC-veteran Jason MacDonald announced the Calgary card for the UFC, and added that he would like to fight on the card and then retire.
UFC 152 and UFC 154 have not yet been assigned main events. UFC welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre announced the UFC 154 Montreal card but did not say whether he would be on the card. The November card would match the optimistic timeline for St-Pierre but the champion insisted he is only focusing on fighting in 2012 regardless of where the event takes place.

Looks like the city of Vancouver is trying to lay heavy restrictions on the UFC which will not fly, funny enough, Dana said UFC fans don’t try and burn the city down after the event which is a great point and made me laugh big time…great reference to idiotic Hockey fans here…never happened with MMA though, but everyone must suffer.
talking about craz fans i bought tickets for my 2 brothers my dad two friends and myself to the first one in montreal whick was on the saturday and the monday the habs played in the playoffs against the flyers i believe and they flipped like 15 cop cars totalled like 20 cop motorcycles fires everywhere fans in montreal are crazy regardless the sport if there is a member from or a team from quebec it goes nuts hense the crosby is better chant to alexander ovechkin the other day it was the best time of my life not mentioning i got pic with tons of guys including the 3 guys from tapout god rest his soul it was a couple months i believe before the tragic accident! but ya franklin and george gugrer?? gsp’s buddy walking down the side walk pushed up againt the walls no one even reconized them till we bs’ed for 30 mins awsome guy bisbing jagging punching the air by him self down the main street it was sweet and took a piss beside griffing in his habs jerey it was sweet
