According to a report by the Press of Atlantic City, the recently announced UFC on FX 4 fight card will grace the Revel entertainment resort and casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
The UFC will be heading back to Atlantic City for the first time since bringing UFC 53 to the Boardwalk Hall back in 2005. The apparently luxurious Revel Atlantic City is a brand new addition to the Jersey shore and will host UFC on FX 4 in a 5,500 seat arena.
The resort and casino isn’t scheduled to open its doors for the first time until April 2, with a full opening scheduled for May 25, just a month out from the fights.
Headlining the fight card will be a lightweight tilt between two-time title challenger Gray Maynard (10-1-1, 1 NC) and division staple Clay Guida (29-12). Coming off of his two-fight title series with recently dethroned champ Frankie Edgar, a refreshed Maynard will be looking to reestablish his presence in the division against Guida. Perennially positioned near the top of the weight class, Guida’s aim is to rebound from a November loss to current champ Benson Henderson.
UFC on FX 4 is scheduled to take place on June 22.
