“UFC 2009″ Trailer To Debut Friday, Video Game Set For Spring 2009 Release
Spike TV’s “GameTrailers TV with Geoff Keighley†(GTTV) today announced they will world premiere the first gameplay footage trailer from THQ’s UFC 2009, on Friday night, June 20th, at 1:00am ET/PT in HD. Taking place in an authentic Ultimate Fighting Championship setting, the game details the action, intensity and attitude of a UFC live event. Join Geoff Keighley and UFC President Dana White as they deliver the highly-anticipated trailer and reveal two key fighters in the game.

UFC 2009 is the first videogame to be released as a part of THQ’s agreement with the world’s leading mixed martial arts organization, which continues to experience sold-out crowds at live events, grow its worldwide pay-per-view audience and reach its key demographic through the Spike TV reality television series “The Ultimate Fighter,†now in its seventh season. The videogame is expected to feature a number of UFC fighters and champions, as well as all other UFC event content, including the famed Octagon. UFC 2009 is tentatively scheduled for release in spring 2009.

bout ****in time…I can’t believe its not coming for another year, those assholes showed the teaser trailer like 2 years before it was to come out….this game better be all its hyped up to be.

they better make it for ps2 not just that fancy ps3 or xbox360 cause Im too poor to get either one of those…but its gonna be awesome!

You better save your money…I doubt it will come out on PS2 but you neverknow. I just cannot wait to play someone online and kick the **** out of them…..I could never do it in the real world.

Eh Id like to play it when its out but if its not for ps2 or old xbox then looks like Im not gettin it..I wont pay that much for a system the only reason I have ps2 is cause I bought it off a junkie for $60…ya gotta love junkies you can always get a deal!

I think I am goods at video games..I can kick all my friends ass at madden, but once I hook up and play online and get beat by a 8 year old chineese boy, I lose a lot of pride and it takes me beating the computer on easy a few times before I try again! haha
Maybe me and KOuch can go at a few times before we try them big boys haha.

I do not think it is going to be a good game. There is just so many different movements in a UFC match that could not be recreated in a video game. How in the world are you suppose to control two arms, two legs, your hips, your head all at the same time on the ground with one controller. It just seems like there are too many small movenemnt that we will not be able to control which will defently make the game not realalistic at all.
john blaze you have basically summmed up all what i was going to say. I was thinking they (it won’t happen but…) could have movement sensetive gloves, knee pads, some type of foot braces,and elbow bads. It would be like your fighitng realistically. That would be INTENSe!!!!!!!!!
Anyone got the link to the NEW trailer yet?? all i can find is the old E3 from last year. This new one should have forrest griffin and rampage
