There are so many great minds involved with this event ( fighters and business ) … I don’t see how they will screw it up………
hopefully they can blend a little entertainment with respect for the sport and the fighters.
I wonder if Megadeth will play there 1999 song “Crush em”???
When the band is more important than the card that says something….
man, there getting a bit desperate now aren’t they? competeing against the opposing ufc event takes everything and they’re trying to do it.
Hey Dana,
Take that! Affliction just pulled a Gary Shaw. Instead of getting washed up Busta Rhymes they got MegaDeth. Pretty funny….UFC rivals with a free event so Affliction signs MegaDeth to preform…Last time I checked this was MMA not Hollywood.
Was this suppose to get more PPV buys?
KOuch
I agree with you ……is MegaDeath susposed to generate more PPV buyers…..?????????????
They still kick ass in my opinion but I watch MMA for fights not music.
I cant say that i ever listened to Megadeath, but i dont how even if were beetles .. 20 years ago how it would improve PPV sales for an MMA event
I think Megadeth is going to be performing to please the ticket buyers…not the PPV buyers. If they are charging upwards of $1,000 a ticket there better be ‘in between fights’ entertainment of a good calibur.
Washed up rappers are not good entertainment… Megadeth, however, IS. Booya!
Who cares…………….
MEGADETH is badass! it is the perfect music for the hardcore mma fans. if you young’uns have not listened to them… try it out! mustaine rocks!
Still seems like piling it on to me….
