The final preparations for UFC 144 are set to take place tonight with the weigh-ins for Saturday’s card. The first fighters are set to step on the scale at 11 PM Eastern. The weigh-ins take place at Saitama Super Arena, which is also the location of tomorrow’s fights.

this card is awesome
i’t be hard to convince me that rampage didn’t purposely come in heavier than his opponent on purpose. the 20 percent means nothing to him. but a Win over a loss certainly makes his stock rise.
Umm, NOPE, I’ll make it easy for you… it was 6 pounds! He didn’t come close to making weight, but if you think 6lbs at the weigh-in makes a difference before they rehydrate/eat over the next 24hrs, then you are naive. Also, neither Rampage or the UFC care if Rampage wins or loses this fight. This is an opportunity to ingratiate the UFC to Japanese fans and give them the opportunity to see one of their PRIDE heroes compete again in their home country. After getting handled by Jones, Rampage became a novelty… he is obviously still a top tier LHW, but the belt is most likely out of the real of possibilities (barring some big shake-up in the division). He is and will continue to be a monster draw who can compete with anyone in the division, but he doesn’t need this win because win/lose/or draw his stock is in a different category altogether.
tip: being condescending doesn’t make your nonsense worth spurting. no one is doubt rampage is top tier or a big draw, but thanks for the enlightenment services, is there a 1-800 number
