Lightweight Tim Means has replaced Yoislandy Izquierdo and will make his Octagon debut against fellow newcomer Bernardo Magalhaes at UFC on Fuel TV 1 on February 15 in Omaha, Nebraska, the UFC recently confirmed.
Means (16-3-1) is riding a seven fight win streak that includes six wins in King of the Cage, where he was the lightweight champion, while the Brazilian-born, Australian-based Magalhaes (11-1) has won five-straight, including five-round title wins over Adrian Pang and Robert Lisita in Australia’s CFC.
Izquierdo was pulled from the card as he remains in a contract dispute with Florida-based Championship Fighting Alliance, according to MMAjunkie.
