Outspoken middleweights Chael Sonnen and Michael Bisping will meet in the co-main event of UFC on Fox 2 this Saturday (Jan. 28) in Chicago with the next shot at UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva on the line.

Chael’s a tool!
He says he doesn’t know what guys mean when they say they are preparing a game plan for a certain opponent. Do you suppose he really doesn’t game plan or think specifically about who he’s fighting? I suppose he’s proabably just spitting sound bites. As a fighter how could he not understand training/planning differently for a opponents with completely different skill sets?
“if he hits me more with his fists he’ll win, if I hit him more I’ll win, this is the most simplistic and un-intelligent thing 2 people can do. Chael doesn’t give fighting or fighters much credit with this statement (or maybe just himself). He’s saying something that to me the average un-informed person would say, not a pro fighter who’s spent a good portion of his life training in martial arts.
Not really… Chael is a stud! He may be just be playing dumb with the whole “what is a game plan….footwork” type talk… but at the end of the day.. Chael is the best wrestler in the UFC.. he is basically a 1 dimension fighter… his stand up has improved.. but obviously wouldnt place him with the elite strikers… but at the end of the day… you know what Chael wants to do.. you know what Chael is going to do…. so it doesnt matter who is opponent is.. it doesnt matter if they change his opponent again today…. Chael is going into the fight.. and going to take him down… and ground and pound… the end…
Now with other fighters who are more well rounded, they obviously dont answer the way he does.. I like his answer because he isnt trying to feed us a bunch of crap… he may play dumb in not knowing what you mean… but at least you get the gist.. he is going into the fight the same way… usually that isnt a good thing.. but until people can stuff his dbl leg take down.. he will continue on…
Nah, I believe him when he says he doesn’t know what a game plan is. That’s probably why he has been submitted so often.

Either way regardless, he’s going to beat Bisping..
This is truly a match up between a giant douche and a turd sandwich…but still should be a good fight.
Chael’s not stupid. He’s INCREDIBLY smart. He knows exactly what he’s going to say before he says it. It’s a strategy.
Chael is playing a character called Chael Sonnen at this point. Nothing he says can be taken for fact or truth. It’s all for entertainment value. He talks in sound bytes for crying out loud! The guy is working everybody and he’s taking everything he says to the bank.
This is a guy who was unknown to casual mma fans 2-3 years ago. Now he is one of the most talked about MMA fighters.
Newfie, did you also know that they took gullible out of the dictionary too? Lord Mark try not to let your suppressed hating get in the way of a good post… Ya he prob doesnt take fights seriously, thats why he is 4-1 in his last 5 against the top 185ers on the planet, and won more rounds against Spider than anyone in the past 7 years combined. And on top of that he’s backing up the armor truck to his house every fight. Yeah, what a loser.
Even though i’m a Brit I want Sonnen to win this one. Silva would slaughter Bisping and probably end him as a viable UFC fighter. At least if Sonnen wins maybe Bisping gets a chance again in a year or so against a new champ.
Sonnen will destroy Pisping and then take the old man silvas title and send him into retirement.
