UFC 145 Won’t Take Place on March 24 in Montreal
UFC 145 won’t be taking place on March 24 in Montreal, Canada, as the UFC has postponed the event due to “complications in scheduling and a desire to deliver a ‘championship card’,” The Canadian Press reports.
Most of the fights already booked for March 24 will be shifted to an April 20 event in Atlanta, which was announced last week as UFC 146, but may be renamed UFC 145.
The scheduled matchups include Rory MacDonald vs. Che Mills, Travis Browne vs. Chad Griggs, Matt Wiman vs. Mark Bocek, Brendan Schaub vs. Ben Rothwell, Mark Hominick vs. Eddie Yagin, Mac Danzig vs. Efrain Escudero, Anthony Njokuani vs. John Makdessi, and Chris Clements vs. Keith Wisniewski.

Wow…what’s going on here, has Montreal pissed of Dana?
I’m curious to know what “a desire to deliver a championship card” means. Was the card that the UFC put together for the event “not good enough” for Montreal? Or is it the other way around?? Intersting…
the card had some great fights, just not a main event fight…the UFC could not or did not want to put one together
I was excited to hear the UFC was coming back to Atlanta but I wasnt thrilled when this card was announced in the first place but Wow this is crazy
I see why, it’s a made for Canada card which i’m sure will be changed soon…or at least Canadian fights bumped down.
They are gonna wait for GSP to come back.
Chad Griggs vs Travis Browne will be sick…some is going to get KTFO in that one, guaranteed.
