Nice. This is going to be a great card. Three title fights for free is fine with me.
Thats gonna be awesome! Too bad I dont have tvo
I’m cool with the FREE!
This card is almost as good as Affliction, the talent is there just not the Names
Pretty good card! Both Brian Stann and Carlos Condit are both on the rise as stars….Stann is super martketable with his looks and marine war stories and what not….Carlos is a major talent on a super hot win streak….Varner shows promise, ecspecially the way he finished Razor Rob, but it will be interesting to see how he does against Hicks.
Ya good card but I would rather see Brock Larson get another shot at Condit Brock did beat John so there for he should be the one fighting Condit Ya I am sure some of you are going to say that the only reason he won against jon was brcause of the disqualiafaction but all I can say to that is watch the fight damn asses Brock was beating the junk out of him anyways I say give Brock another shot at Condit I would even go as far to say I guarrenty a win for Brock!
I LOVE Brian Stann and he has a great future in this sport. I’d like to see him against someone who has a ground game, though. Not sure i’ve seen Brian on his back but once and he was able to power out of it. Don’t think he could do that with Griffin or Jackson.
Hopeully Dana will cross promote his own organizations and give superfights to the champs of WEC against some top talent of the UFC. Not only will they retain their WEC belts but will gain experience from fighting better opponents. Not to mention it could improve UFC PPV money intake as more people may end up watching WEC since it is free and can bring in a whole new base for UFC.
Derrick Nelson,
I’m with you man. I would love to see a rematch with Larson and Condit. I don’t know much about Condits next opponent but he doesn’t sound like someone who should be getting a title shot right away.
Dannyboy,
Maybe you are onto the BIG announcement with the cross promotion of their own organizations. It seems slightly out of left field, changes the UFC, slightly disappointing….sounds about right.
