Lightweight strikersAnthony Njokuani and John Makdessi will look to bounce back from recent losses when they’re scheduled to clash at UFC 145 on March 24 in Montreal, Canada. The UFC announced the matchup on Wednesday.
Njokuani (14-6) dropped a split to Danny Castillo late last month at UFC 141 to fall to 1-2 in the UFC after going 4-3 in the WEC, while Makdessi (9-1) suffered a first-round submission to Dennis Hallman last month in his native Canada for his first career loss following a pair of UFC wins.
UFC 145 does not yet have a main event, but the UFC 145 fight card includes Mark Hominick vs. Eddie Yagin, Matt Wiman vs. Mark Bocek, Rory MacDonald vs. Che Mills, Travis Browne vs. Chad Griggs, Brendan Schaub vs. Ben Rothwell, and Mac Danzig vs. Efrain Escudero.
