Strikeforce middleweight champion Luke Rockhold knocked out UFC veteran Keith Jardine in the first round to defend the 185-pound title for the first time in the main event of Saturday’s “Strikeforce: Rockhold vs. Jardine event in Las Vegas.
In other action on the Showtime-televised card, Robbie Lawler pounded out Adlan Amagov in the opening round, “King” Mo Lawal stopped Lorenz Larkin with punches, and Tyron Woodley and Tarec Saffiedine picked up decision wins

You know what, it was a good fight, but I’m really looking forward to the day someone knocks “I’m sexy and I know it” the fuck out. He’s incredibly egotistical and self centered, he can barely open his mouth without complimenting himself. Send over Munoz to shut him up, that would be a good fight and I don’t see egomaniac coming out of that one
I watch mma on every level.but strikeforce just can’t seem to shake that generic feel.it’s like everybody’s there going through the motion because they have to…and I don’t care how much mauro knows he’s still annoying as hell.Dana looked like he wanted to slap him
I still lost on how 2 of those fights went to split decision. Either the judges got smarter and realized you can do alot of damage with elbows from the bottom while your opponent lays on top of you. Or they are just more dumb than before.
I also like how Rockhold basically said that he wanted to fight in the UFC then backtracks in saying that Dana should send some top competition to SF.
I agree and the Jordan Mein fight was disappointing but Woodley managed to lay on him for the majority of the fight and it’s up to Jordan to learn the skills to get the guy off him, good elbows from the bottom though.

It’s Mir alright, he’s lean as a top model that’s weird but he seem ok always smiling at the camera.
Brock is gone now so he might not feel that he has to weigh in at 265 anymore. Although I’d imagine Cain and Carwin would both do the same to him.
