Miguel Torres Back in the UFC

Miguel Torres is back in the UFC less than a month after the former WEC bantamweight champion was released for making a joke about rape on Twitter.
UFC President Dana White announced at today’s UFC 141 press conference that Torres had rejoined the promotion after he “handled his business like a man,” including volunteering and donating to local rape crisis centers.
Torres (39-4) topped Nick Pace at UFC 139 in November for his second UFC win in three fights following a narrow loss to Demetrious Johnson in May and successful debut over Antonio Banuelos in February.
The UFC has not yet scheduled Torres’ next fight.

Handled his business…you mean he covered your backside, right Dana?
Dana is such a DQ! “Drama Queen” Playing his favorites & releasing those that aren’t, such as Brett Rogers.
If you aren’t his golden tickets he doesn’t care about you & will fire you. At least he brought Torres back so Im happy for that.
Brett Rogers was sent to prison for beating his wife which is 100% different than this situation… Any promoter would have and should have cut his stupid ass. It also didn’t help that Rogers is a ****ty one dimensional fighter. Just sayin
yay(=
This was all just Dana’s way of avoiding buying him an ipad2 for Christmas.
You know who won? The FANS! The fans saved Torres!!!
TC good point.
Glad he’s back
One of my favorite fight to watch. Glad DW came to his senses.
Classic Dana White rushing to a decision based on emotion and then trying to fix it afterward
Dana White made the right call in both instances. Torres messed up and paid the consequence for it. He owned up, did what he had to do and in the end it worked out for both parties. He could have whined about getting let go and went and got a job fighting else where .. can bet he gathered alot of interest. But instead, he made good of a bad situation and working for the top organization out there. Props to Torres for taking accountability for his actions, and props to DW for acknowledging that.
You know i was one of many people who was annoyed at dana and thought he jummped the gun over these not so bright remarks torres said.but i find it more annoying when people seem to look for reasons to say that dana should or shouldn’t of done this or that or he’s flexing his mussle again, and making it sound like it’s one bad decision after another..now i’m not gonna sit here and list the numerous reasons why you should appreciate him but i think we can all agree we wouldn’t be commenting on these sights if it weren’t for him.i understand he go’s overboard quite a bit.but the way some people talk about him you would think he has no business being president of the ufc.
