TUF 14 Finale Weigh-In Results: Bisping, Miller Set for Main Event

Michael BispingMichael Bisping failed to make weight in his first trip to the scale, but later weighed in successfully to make his headliner with rival coach Jason “Mayhem” Miller official for tomorrow’s The Ultimate Fighter 14 Finale in Las Vegas.

Bisping initially weighed in at 186.25 pounds, a quarter of a pound over the middleweight limit, before dropping to 186 within the two hour limit, while Miller tipped the scale at 185.5 on his first attempt.

After being booed by the crowd at Miller’s request, Bisping grabbed the mic from announcer Joe Rogan and said, “I couldn’t give a f*** about getting f****** love. All I care about is smashing this d*** head’s head in tomorrow night. That’s gonna happen. F*** you all” before flipping the crowd off as he left the stage.

The rest of the Spike-televised main card, including TUF 14 finals Dennis Bermudez vs. Diego Brandao and John Dodson vs. T.J Dillashaw, made weight along with the entire preliminary card, which streams on Facebook.com/UFC.

Bisping is one of the real class acts of the UFC ..

  • flying squirrel says:

Well Bisping says that he has a lot of US fans, i think he has less now! Didn’t think i liked Mayhem prior to this, but i hope that he beats the sh*t out of Bisping.

  • frantzfanon says:

How pathetic, taking a p!ss on the fans because he can’t be a professional and make weight.

  • leo says:

He’s there to fight!..who gives a sht wht fans or anybody thinks and I like that!

  • Onlytrue1 says:

After Bisping wears Mayhem out he pretty much guarantee’d himself a match with Chael Sonnen. I bet Chael cant wait to start the talk about Bisping after watching this.

  • Aaron Diesel says:

I would not bet on Bisping wearing Miller out. Fact that Bisping failed to make weight might be a deciding factor in this. Jason Miller never really walks around much bigger than 90/95. Bisping on the other hand is known to go as much as 215 between fights. We should all know how bad last minute weight cuts are for you, and how much they can affect a lot of aspects of a fighter’s game. Gas tank runs a bit lower, speed, mental strength, etc. I think it should be a good fight, since neither fighter is really known for gassing, and most people would look at the fight this way: Striking advantage: Bisping, Grappling advantage: Miller. However, I know for a fact that Miller has been doing some serious striking work over the last year, so we should see a decent 185 pound contender fight.

I would only like to see Bisping/Sonnen just to see these two moronic, self important, cack smooching, numbskulls talk crap to each other, then see Bisping get beat down for three rounds.

    That’s a bit unnecessary. -BSBiz

    • Onlytrue1 says:

Yeah like I said, Bisping wore him out literally
How anybody thought Mayhem would contend with Bisping is beyond me…! That was a horible matchup… Mayhem is nooooo where near the level bisping is on at this time.

  • Doublejayz says:

There you go again all you self important pickle smooching yanks! It beggars belief the way Frenzy treats any fighter from the UK that wins the odd fight. Bisping in particular gets nothing short of ridiculous abuse on here to the point where you all actually applauded Henderson fro clubbing a clearly knocked out opponent. Yet when Paul Daley clipped a lucid Josh Kosceck you wanted his head on a plate. I’m not condoning what Daley did, it was bad sportsmanship but you see the comparison.
It’s a typical response from you lot to any Brit in the UFC and it stinks

    • Swansea says:

yes, i agree that bisping is not as well like in the US as he is in his home country. i lived in the UK for a few years but am an American now back home. trying to say that US fans hate all british fighters is stupid and you come off very ignorant. bisping is hated on here in the states bc he is not an elite fighter and the ufc serves him up easy fights. on top of that its bisping’s behaviour that has turned alot of fans on him. last fight he was in he delivered that illegal knee (much worse then what daley did in my opinion) then spit on rivera’s corner.
and for your comment towards “pickle smooching yanks”. you would be typing this in german if it werent for us yanks. dont forget that.

    • Advent says:

And I suppose You defended the blatant and illegal knee that Bisping put on Rivera, right? And stuck up for the BS that he didn’t spit AT Rivera’s corner, just on the floo rin front of them?
How about defending when The Count (minus the ‘o’) when squirtted water in a contestant’s face as a coach, but then condemned mayhem for doing it to him, a fellow coach?

I already see your blatant bias for Bisping, trying to compare what Hendo did to him, to what another cheating Brit fighter did. Maybe the educational system is lacking over there, so I’ll try to simplify for people who don’t understand. When Hendo knocked Bisping the fcuk out, he continued until the ref stopped him, which is what you’re supposed to do. I mean, we all saw what happens when you try to give a guy mercy and stop before the ref pulls you off… Akira tapped, guy let go and ended up losing because of it. I wonder if its just a coincidence that he was on Bisping’s team? Hm. Anyway, in the Daley fight, the fight was OVER. There was no grey area and the ref didnt have to pull one of them off, cause he was already between them holding each one of their arms.

      Can you see the difference?

So Bisping wants to tell all of us “fcuk you”? Ok, well, that’s all Hendo did and what Miller’s going to do.

  • Danwatto says:

I love watching bisping!he says outloud what other peeps are thinking!I hope he smashes miller all over!!people need to remember that these men are fighters, so they are going to act like that ie with aggression at the weigh in!!bisping is in the zone to bray miller all over!
    It’s a UK ting!!!

    • Clown says:

they can be aggressive in the cage. but cmon really? your saying outside of the cage they should act the same way? I understand trying to psych the fighter out or hype the fight up but acting like a tool period isn’t smart or even entertaining.

What your basically saying is that all fighters should be neanderthals.

      No.

  • TC says:

WOW total classless………i guess my given name was perfect “” b1tchping

Whether you like him or not, that’s quite unnecessary. -BSBiz

  • Cesar says:

I’m sorry but how can anyone not find bispings interview at the end anything but hilarious. He’s gonna smash miller and then walk through Sonnen.

  • Danwatto says:

That’s right cesar!!people on here have their head up their arse’s at times!!bisping will make mma gain more followers!!people want to see banter not men kissing arse!!

  • skdrcr says:

What Daley did was cheap I know. But I can almost guarantee there is just as many Daley fans as there is Koscheck fans if not more in the US.

  • Danwatto says:

Daley did what anyone on this forum would do. Like mike Tyson said before…it’s a fight!things happen!I hope Daley gets another shot in the UFC!I get the feeling the yanks arnt fans of fighters from the UK!!

    • Advent says:

Uh no, not everyone on this forum would throw away a pro career at its highest level by doing one of the most unsportsmanlike things possible. I’m sure most people here would try to be consummate professionals in that situation. If that’s the way brits are raised and trained, then we’ll leave being d-bag fighters to you all.

  • Bigguy says:

The funniest thing was Rogan saying “Bisbing everybody.. No wonder he gets booed”
I don’t mind Bisbing I like to watch wars and Bisbing brings it! That being said go Miller.. I can’t wait to see his ring intro lol
