Brittney Palmer is back as a UFC Octagon girl after UFC President Dana White asked fans on Twitter if they wanted the former WEC ring girl to return and announced she would be back just six minutes later:

It is not yet clear whether Palmer will be back Octagonside for Saturday’s UFC on Fox event or will wait to return at another upcoming card.

I almost cried when I found out the UFC cut her but yay she’s back!!! I think she takes the cake as prettiest ring girl but that’s my opinion.
She was never cut. She took a leave of absence to study at an art school in San Diego or Los Angeles.
Thanks i thought she was cut, good to know. Now a bloody octagon can look a whole lot more beautiful with her on the outside.

As an aside, I might be the only person around here who doesn’t give 2 s#its about the Tart Du Jour carrying the cardboard sign around. They’re pretty much irrelevant throwbacks to boxing and don’t do much to lend credence to the idea that women’s MMA isn’t just a sideshow to spur baby oil sales….
I support Womens MMA, and I’m fine with the Octagon Girls as well.
They play their role just like everyone else in Zuffa does, and pretty much like everyone who works in Las Vegas does.
Speaking for myself I prefer women fighters over Octagon Girls in terms of dating, but hey thats just me.
Maybe its just my LV upbringing, but I’m kind of used to seeing chicks in bikinis [or their underwear] standing out in front of every type of business in the city.
They moneys always there, and someones always looking, so it seems to be a match made in money heaven.
He11, Niccolo’s Pizza [local hangout when I was young] used to have bikini models out there waving folks in on Saturday nights after 10, and they were located way out in suburbia, miles from the Strip.
Most of the female locals in my neighborhood/s at one time or another have slipped into something tasty and modeled at a sports car lot or a powerboat dealership or for some developer announcing a new project.
One of my oldest friends moms was the billboard babe for the old Aladdin when we were in elementary school and now she’s a community director for water conservation.
And never once was baby oil even thought of…at least by me.
In some ways the rest of the country seems almost uptight about women and how they’re objectified or catagorized or whatever. Most of the women I personally or professionally know [both in LV and now in Reno] realize that America is a pretty much a T & A environment businesswise [visually speaking] and thats why no one wants their receptionist and/or assistant looking like a character out of a horror movie.
I don’t care if I’m going to the dentist or hitting the Whole Foods or checking in at a resort, I’m more likely to leave my business in a visually pleasant environment, and that means not seeing Nurse Ratchet or a contestant from week one of the Biggest Loser or an extra from the Walking Dead at the front desk/point of contact.
Bottom line, I want to see attractive women rocking great outfits wherever I go in my day. Not hating on anyone, tts just how I am.
