I hope they all test clean. I don’t want more steroid drama in this sport.

  • crockpot says:

too many steroids in this sport

    Crockpot,
How do you know there are too many ‘roids in this sport?

I know and understand what you’re saying Rutdog, I just have a hard time getting my mind around the fact that these fighters have to pay their clubs they train at, chiropractors, doctors, trainers etc etc etc, and be expected to pay it with the little money they make. I know sponsors pay them as well but I’m sure not everyone is getting big money for sponsorship. Paying ANY FIGHTER WHO GIVES HIS ALL IN THE OCTOGON DESERVES MUCH MUCH MORE THAN A MEASLY 3000, whether they win or lose, it’s just unimaginable. Share the wealth Dana and the Fur”tito”’s, Weren’t they just broadcast as billionaires a little while ago. They can pay a base salary to any new fighter or at least 10,000. And that’s for a no name newcomer. Even though he lost Sherk ( I know it’s his contract) should have been paid at least 50 grand if he lost. I just don’t understand it, they want the sport to become mainstream but they continually give the public reasons to justify keeping it off prime time, ( I know EliteXC is on CBC but that’s no where near enough. Again it’s just my opinion.

I can’t believe a buddy of mine is fighting in a tough man competition in Seattle for $5500.00 (not purse that will be his winnings if he does win his division) while these guys make less than that!!! Ridiculious, these guys are pros!
