This may hurt from travelling overseas for his fight. Good work guys on up to date stories! Keep up the good work!!!

  • brandon says:

absolutely. Great story, leban may have really screwed himself this time, which sucks. I had him beating Bisping.

  • SuSiE says:

The guy’s a good fighter but he’s young and a bit immature… As much work as it takes some of these fighters to get in the octagon, Leben is a natural for the sport but if he keeps it up he’s jeopardizing a great position…

  • SiMonsterD says:

The “arrested” link makes me laugh…

At least we knew he was on to make weight for the fight!

No visitors. No bail… What was he on probation for?

  • FixXeR says:

he thinks he is invincable. Dana should suspend him and let Franklin hurt Bisping.

  • SiMonsterD says:

Franklin is higher up the foodchain at the moment – especially as Henderson may be waiting for him.

I reckon Ed Herman would be a good replacement.

  • kelvin says:

all the bisping fans must be loving this…they knew leben was gonna destroy him.

  • jpm says:

Kelvin, your so hilarious, a real funny man, don’t you ever bore yourself? I know you do me. Can’t understand what all the fuss is about, drink driving is cool!!!

  • Dale says:

How bad does that loss to Kalib Starnes look now? lol

  • Java says:

What a dumbass. I can’t see this fight going on in any way now.
    He’s in jail.
He’s not going to get bail anytime soon.
He’s likely going to have to serve jail time after he’s sentenced.
No way in hell is he going to be in any kinda shape EVEN if the conditions for his probation would allow him to travel outside the US. I can’t see them allowing him to train while he’s in prison.

  • burtoni says:

I don’t think there’s any way he can fight Bisping now, as the terms of his next hearing probably won’t allow him to leave the country. Sucks. I hope they find a decent replacement to fight Bisping.

  • mman says:

He is screwed! That fact that he has violated his probation doesnt look good. These things take some time to work out and the Probation Officer holds all the cards for his future now. He sentenced for whatever charge he had that placed him on probation was suspended as a result of his probation. The Probation Officer may push for him to either serve County Jail or State Prison time as a result of his arrest which violated his probation.

Either way we wont be seeing him fight in June and with all of the UFC cutbacks I would’nt be surprised if he is dropped from his contract. Good work Chris! I thought he was living on the Big Island running a MMA school; what the hell was he thinking?

  • mike, troy NY says:

the fight will happen if the ufc can pull some strings maybe…if not then someone will have to replace leben in this fight…maybe alessio sakara, jason macdonald or patrick cote

  • rutdog says:

I agree with most comments, especially the one by Kelvin, I do think that Bisping fans were not looking forward to 2 losses in 3 fights. The UFC will probably build some unknown sap into a huge threat and then Bisping will destroy him and then Oh my god he needs to fight for the title. OK, maybe getting ahead of myself, but honestly, what the hell is Leben thinking? I have to think he will have difficulty getting ready for his fight. This was a bonehead move that made me reconsider even being a fan of this dude. But, I’m still not going to cheer for Bisping.

  • Judoka says:

Leben wasn’t arrested. He turned himself in on an old DUI warrant so he COULD fight in England on the 7th.

Leben lives in Hawaii now, remember?

Nothing like jumping to conclusions without any evidence whatsoever.

  • Brian says:

This is old news, leben turned himself in for an old dui, its not like he just got arrested yesterday for a dui. He has to spend 8-10 days in jail before his court hearing, and lebens camp has already stated this isnt going to effect the fight at all. He will be fighting 100% guaranteed

  • KOuch says:

I am glad to see all of you lawyers hard at work discussing the Leben case. There is no reason why the fight should be off. All this incident does is hurt Leben’s training. I personally violated probation twice before and never did more than 45 minutes in a cell. I don’t have any connections or money…..every case is different. Leben will be fine. Bisping will still be KO!

  • tommo says:

Why all the h8 on bisbing?

  • Kris says:

Update on this story here: LINK

  • JAI says:

Man, this really sucks! I was really looking forward to that most of all. This was the fight he wanted most and I hope somehow this all gets worked out. But I tell you one thing, he doesn’t look drunk on that picture at all!!
