UFC 70 A Sellout; $2.6 Million Gate

UFC’s return to England was nothing short of extremely successful as the event was attended by a sellout crowd of 14,921 at the M.E.N. Arena in Manchester. Also, the gate for the event was a reported $2.6 million. Merchandise sales were also very successful.
These numbers are extremely imresive given it was the most recent foray the UFC had made into Europe and it has come out extremely successful with U.K. native Michael Bisping scoring a victory in front of hordes of his fellow countrymen and a shocking main event with a surprising end.
