After winning his final UFC bout, Chris Lytle left the Octagon $130,000 richer as UFC President Dana White awarded Lytle “Fight of the Night” and “Submission of the Night” honors for his third-round guillotine of Dan Hardy in Sunday’s UFC on Versus 5 main event.
Hardy also took home $65,000 for “Fight of the Night” after delivering a standup war before Lytle capitalized for the finish on a late takedown, while Donald Cerrone scored $65,000 for his “Knockout of the Night” over Charles Oliveira.
White first announced the bonuses on Twitter moments after Lytle stepped into the Octagon for the final time after announcing his retirement plans earlier in the day.
UFC on Versus 5 drew an attendance of 6,751 at the Bradley Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin for a live gate of $539,000.

Nice retirement present! $130K and a Harley, not bad at all!
fight of the night was definitely miller henderson
No, in that case fight of the night would be Henderson…Miller just happened to be getting pummeled at the time.
Lytle needs to cut half of his SoTN bonus over to Hardy. Really, going for a take down that late in the fight against a guy like Lytle? Holy fuck that was dumber than a ring girl on dollar margarita night.
Dollar Margarita Night? I’m in.
That takedown told me that either Dan Hardy isn’t the brightest student of the sport, and/or his trainers aren’t schooling him properly.
The only thing thats ever really held back Chris Lytle is Lytle himself, as no opponent has ever really out-worked the guy or displayed more heart in and out of the cage.
I mean this guy is a firefighter, so how mentally tough can MMA be in comparison?
Ideally Lytle moves on to whatever life throws his way, and Dan Hardy somehow finds someone to well and truly dial him into what North American MMA in general and the UFC in particular is all about…
Better than a gold watch. I thought Herman had sub of the night. Does clay guida get the shot at the title or does he fight Henderson for a # 1 contender?
