MMA Chatter: Chris Leben Calls Out Okami and Bisping
Chris Fries and The JDH of Tagg Radio’s The Lights Out Show interviewed top UFC middleweight Chris Leben on their last show and, as we know, he’s always got something interesting to say. Here are some excerpts from the show:
CALLING OUT YUSHIN OKAMI AND MICHAEL BISPING
“We’re talking to Joe (Silva – UFC Match Maker), and we’re starting to look for a fight. If you win 4 or 5 fights in a row, you’re pretty much guaranteed a title shot, so I figured maybe Okami or Bisping would be a fun fight for me.”
ON ANDERSON SILVA VS ROY JONES JR. AND BOXING VS MMA FIGHTING IN GENERAL
“Sure a boxer beats a UFC guy in boxing, but the bottom line is what’s cooler? (MMA) Fighting, right?!”

I just listened to this show for the 1st time this morning – good show, I will be listening to it more often now…..but I want to know – where is my royalties?!?!?!?
They quoted me on their show – so I will expect a check for $100 or so.. that should take care of gas in my car for the week!!! 
But as for the interview…I would love to see Leban and Bisping fight….I think that would be good…not sure if Okami and Leban would be that great of a fight…I think Okami would destroy him…
i agree jason i think okami would beat leban. i also think bisping would take him as well but you never know with leban and i think him and bisbing is a fight i want to see.
Yea, it would be a toss up between leban and bisping…but i think that would be a slug fest.. i think okami would end leban’s night with a few knees…but hey anything can happen in this sport, which makes it the greatest out there!
Toss up between leban and bisping?!?!…the only tossing bisping is the kind that involves salads! bisping sucks!
he does suck but leban isnt exactly an elite fighter yet … and bisping would give leban a good fight…styles are similar and bisping has a better ground game….but it would be a fight id like to see….
bisping and leben would be a great fight but i think bispng would get the win defo fight for the furture
all u bisping haters make me laugh i dont see y people hate him so much after all it was the judges call not his and after that fight he was pumped and prob did sound a bit like a bad ass but the guy had just won in front of an english crowd any1 would be happy t do that, as for leban an bisping the count would defo win i wana see bispin and okami great match up there,
i think bisping vs leben would be a great fight… i got leben knockin out bisping though…and about the silva vs jones boxing match… i think its stupid unless jones learns mma n steps into the octagon

Leben vs. Bisping would be a great fight – I think Leben would knock out Bisping, but Okami is way above Leben in the food chain; Okami has wins over Jason McDonald and Kalib Starnes, both of whom have beaten Leben. Leben has looked great in his last two fights (Martin and Sakara) but neither opponent was nearly as good as Okami is. As far as I know, Okami is next in line to fight A. Silva for the MW title. If Leben were to fight Okami, Leben would have to first win another fight against decent competition (such as Bisping) and Okami would have to lose to Silva in the title fight.
Bispin-vs-Leben is a great match up. BOMBS AWAY in that one boy!!! I’m not sure how good Bisping’s chin is though. We all know that Leben can take a good punch. It would be very insteresting I think. Now as far as Leen Okami is concerned, I think it would be a boring fight. Okami would lay on him all night and probably win in a lackluster performance.

i think leben bisping would be great, okami is just too damn big, he wouldnt stand w/ leben so i say it would be a boring fight.
