I was at the event and let me tell you the main event was stopped WAY to soon. Poai nailed Hamman with a knee. Hamman crumbled to the ground but regained himself Poai went for the the back possibly for the Rear naked Choke. Hamman was fighting however that is when the ref jumped in and stopped the fight. The crowd went wild with boos. It was a Joke. The ref should have never got involved. Hamman was conscious and trying to fight back. He ruined a 10-1 record by being overzealous. He should have been given the chance to fight out. On the the under card slot Pezzat came in talking a lot of game however once he got inside the cage his performance was less then amateur do to his inability to commit to the fight , his eagerness to turn his back (Literally) and run from his opponent on more then 3 occasions, and his lack of preparation. In all perhaps the most awful MMA live bout I have ever witnessed. I hope Hamman gets his rematch Poai mentioned, and Pezzat never fights again.
Never heard of any of these fighters…Join the best and face the best in the UFC
I just want to point out that it is attitudes like that that keep a sport stag net. UFC is not the best. They have a lot of good and even great fighters. However competition is good. Rather people know it or not. EXC and Strike force aren’t there yet but some day they will be. Dana is a great Business man but he needs to loosen up and sign the Fedor and Randy match or someone else will. If he wants to stay on top, he needs to quite ****ing and do some deals he does not want to. Or others will and they have money just like the UFC. Competition is good for the sport and the Business side as well.
Hamman was 10-0 by the way sorry.
the guy needs to step into the ufc and face real big time fighters then will see who stays undefeated
