will be a good fight i have a feeling rampage would own griffin on the ground though…
what the f*** happened to matt sera vs matt hughs
Mir should be fighting Nog. He deserves it since he was underpaid and easily beat the most overhyped fighter in the UFC.
I hope Mir and Melvin both get KO. I like Mir but just the thought of him getting KO’d before my eyes seems like a wonderful thing right now. I’ll probably feel different in a few minutes.
im not a fan of mir as a commentator….thats the only thing i hate about the wec…he is horrible.. he makes madden look good for football!
as a fighter…he is good, but not great… possibly should fight nog….but its not a blatent over look like jardine is right now
The card is kind of week right now. I hope that they set up some better fights to beef the card up a little….Glad to see that UFC is bringing Joe “Daddy” back…..Mir-vs-McCully is a decent match up but may be a boring fight though.
I agree, this card needs some work ………
Im surprised they are bringing Melvin Guillard back actually….he acted like a thug in his last fight…i thought thats what dana didnt want…
but yea, so far its weak…but I am sure there will be 1-2 more decent fights added…
ya, guilard is stupid. i used to like that guy but there seems to be no need for him since 1. he acted like a dumbass last fight and 2. the division he’s in is already stacked. it would be different if he were a heavyweight or a 185er where they need bodies.
as for the mir fight, seems like they should give him someone better. maybe kongo or herring would be better since they’re both higher up than mccully.
I think they are being very careful with Mir and bringing him back slowly. He still needs to get into better condition and show something other than a submission to really be advanced up the food chain. Not the HW division is much of a chain. He is still young and is being given the chance to be the UFC champ in another couple of fights.
Yeah i think if Mir wins here and then beats vera or kongo he will get a chance at the strap.
well I think the winner of vera/werdum will get the shot at nog next…though it does suck to see even if the UFC signs Fedor, Randy wont come back…and that division badly needs both! Losing Sylvia doesnt even register on the radar…so thats ok, but they need 2 get more names… I know I could be the only one who says this, but I hope they sign Kimbo….not because I think he is a stud or the best….but just would love to see him fight REAL competiion…and to see a Lesnar/Kimbo fight would be awesome!!!
Nogueira definitely belongs as champ,he is world class but i still find the HW division is really boring. Lesnar would be a very ineteresting top contender but its gonna take him time to get there, if he even does ………….
All i hear is that the HW division is stacked.
Yup its stacked alright ! Stacked with S%&t
I don’t Fedor is coming the UFC because he dosen’t want to fight big names anymore. He was to stay on that side of the world and fight 7 foot fighters with 2 fights under there belt.
well ive never heard how the HW division is stacked in the ufc…honestly…everyone i know says its on life support!!! The addition of Lesnar helps…but nothing significant…just helps the draw of fans/people to the sport…prob tuning in to see if lesner will powerbomb someone then climb to the top of the octagon and do an elbow smash….
and if fedor is that much of a wuss…they why is he ranked so high and why does everyone want a piece of him?! thats a joke if he is ducking people….might as well have him fight kara parysian…they are in the same class….the ducking..weight class…
Yo FixXeR. Frank Mir “easily” beat Brock Lesnar?
He “barely” beat Lesnar. He was losing during 88 of the 90 seconds of their fight. It was not a lucky win but some other refs could of easily stopped that fight and given it to Lesnar.
