I’ve not seen this event yet, we only get it in the uk at the weekend, but god damn!!! I would never have predicted some of those results, I mean Edgar & Parisyan losing, i’m really surprised & wtf happended to Alexander? 8 seconds….is that a typing error or what? I thought Hamill would win though, that guy must be riding the crest of a wave with the confidence he must now have after surviving 3 rounds with the legend that is Bisping…….Bisping Rules, i’m telling you kelvin he really does!!!!!!!!!
Great action all night! UFC.COM does have all the unaired prelims but I think it’s ****ty of them to charge $2.00 per fight to watch them considering they were for free TV.
I haven’t seen this either waitin for bravo on weekend, never seen Edgar losin to Maynard,always knew Diaz was goin to win via submission his bjj is awesome, Bisping Bisping Bisping !!! lol

Alexander and Karo both got ripped off. Steve Mazaggatti really needs to let fights go on a litle bit longer instead of jumping right in. I would have given Alexander 2 more punches until I broke it up and Karo was just fine…he went out for a second but recovered. Herb Dean really lets things go the distance and thats what needs to be done. I dont know if Alexander and Karo would have recovered and block the next few punches…..but now we will never know. Hope Mazaggatti gets a talking to.
I cant really criticize the judges. They were questionable but I dont think they were blatantly bad stoppages. I would have let Karo go another few hits, but I would have stopped Alexander also. The way he crumpled and did not defend himself when he fell was the end of it. I know he was comming around at that point, but its too late.
How about Tommy Spiers? That KO was devistating. I havent been impressed by him thus far. He has a lot of potential but needs to take some MT.
AWESOME FIGHTS! both referee stoppages were justified, i knew edgar would lose, sandman made houston look stupid, my boy hamill killed it, that dude anthony “rumble” johnson is no joke, nate diaz is a freakin wizard (would like to see him and ken-flo or him and huerta next), PLEASE PUT MORE FIGHT CARDS LIKE THIS TOGETHER!!! i would have even paid to see this even though there was no title fight.

I do agree on the ref thing…I hate maz…he is a horrible ref…a guy gets punched and is still standing and I think maz starts to drool a little at the thought of running in and waving his hand to stop it….just gets annoying….at the same time, I do realize he is there to protect the fighters, but come on!!!
As for the other things….Karo…MAYBE that was an early stoppage….I will say that, but no way was Alexanders an early one….bc he was pretty much out on that superman punch, then the 3rd punch he threw…Alexander went limp….he was out….so it was a good stop……and frankly, im sick of Alexander now….I dont care if the guy fights again….I was always pumped to see him… but he is a 1 hit wonder, no pun intended…. and after he gets knocked out he says he has been hit harder by his kids…?!?!….wow…class…
Thats not that bad….charging $2 per prelim fight from last night….whats bad is when you spend $45 for a PPV and THEN have to pay $2 per prelim fight online….that sucks….and needs to change…
The stoppages were a little early and I was VERY disappointed but if a fight is that close to being stopped, Karo and Alexander shouldn;t have been put in that type of situation.
I don’t like Mazzagatti, didn’t he take a point away from Brock right away, no warning ? he also took a point away from Frank Shamrock vs Baroni for a quick hit to the back of the head…..
Mazzagatti has a smart ass face I’d like to grab him by the cheek and smash him into the cage.
Alexander’s “I have been hit harder by my kids” line was tasteless. He summed it all up by saying “I got hit and then I dont know why it was stopped” or something like that… Yeah, you dont know why it was stopped because your brain was in RESET mode…When you crumple like a bannana peal, you cant say the punch was nothing.
If Alexander’s kids hit as hard as a FULL ON 100% contact superman from Irvin, they need to be in the UFC or he needs to stop feeding them Flintstone Steroids.

Wonder how much more we’ll see of Houston in the UFC though…
Loved that card!!! Gosh Darn is the LW class great!!!…There are like 15 fighter at the top (none that could beat BJ)…Hamill should drop (he wrestled at 167 and 190) and beat the crap out of the big mouth brit bisping…and bisping sucks!

ya, eddy and kelvin are spot on, bisping is a fag. i’d much rather see paul taylor get to be the uk poster boy cuz that guys a bad ass, win or lose. hammill owned bisping in that fight. i hope he chases him to the 185’s and stomps him…. again.
and karo is a poor loser. i used to like that guy till the ultimate fighter and then last night sealed it for me. no one likes to lose but have some class.
jason, i agree, the pay per views need to show all that ****. as far as alexander goes, my personal thought on the matter is that he probably got ko’d and revived so quickly that he didn’t realize what happened so he thought it was an early stoppage even though it was the right call. as for the post fight stuff, i can’t be too hard on the guy if he honestly felt like it was early stoppage cuz i’d probably be frustrated too. he didn’t take it the level that karo did when he lost, or like nick diaz does when he loses and decides he has to kill someone. i still like the guy, hope he gets back on track. btw, f*** bisping.
Some sic fights Diaz BJJ wass awesome. Alexander result was spot on, and Karo only took 2 punches to the shoulder when he was floored, what was that stoppage about.

why is it the black guy had to be out and bla bla.. he got rocked with the superman punch.. true.. but when they showed the replay the punches Irvin was throwing on the ground weren’t even connecting.. The fight was stopped way to early.. he wasn’t even given a chance to see if he was recovering, out, or what! Karo stoppage was a tad early too but i see comments about him not getting hit cleanly..
This is not someone playing the race card but why does it appear that no one seems to like the african american fighters? Look through the comments on damn near any article about Alexander, Rampage, Evans. There are very few positive things being said about them.

And I am not sure what is being said about the other 2 you mentioned or any black fighter… with rashad…if there is bad talk its bc he came from a reality show and hasnt BEAT anyone good.. he fought tito, but didnt beat him…and no one should talk bad about rampage until he loses… i sure as hell dont……and who does most people agree on is prob the best pound for pound fighter??? My beef isn’t with the ref or the fighter(if you lose oh well).. My comment was directed to the comment leavers that always have something negative to say about african american fighters.

Every fighter has crap posted about him at some point it has nothing to do with race. Before every event there are usually people talking crap about most of the fighters on a card; after a fight, depending on performance more crap is spouted. Now I have used the word ‘crap’ but what we are talking about is opinions. These opinions usually change over time as well, just think back to what was being said about Houston after his first 2 fights. Pulling the race card is beyond cheap.

most people like rampage, but also really like forrest. also, rampage hasn’t defended his belt since september!
i like rashad but agree that he hasn’t fought any top figthers and his last fight against the count…uh, i mean the FAG, was terrible.
and a lot of people really liked houston, but didn’t like his attitude when he lost. he got caught baaaaadly and didn’t want to admit it (which is probably just figther’s pride).
MY point is, don’t be such a jackass and use the race card. GROW UP!!! let’s get back to talking about FIGHTING!
