I think most people do not like Rampage because he beat Liddel twice really bad and really easy, and of course, Liddel is everyone darling! So when Rampage says or does something, he catches heat from the fans. Someone like Liddel does something, the fans will make excuses for him like when he lost to Jardine, “he just over looked him, or he had an off night”…no he just got beat, “period”!!

Rampage is funny and very candid…he has a eunique approach to his interviews in that he likes to make people laugh…he’s different and is just trying to have fun and people aren’t used to the lighter side of a fighter. Forrest is similar in that he likes making people laugh as well and he is very different. That’s whats going to be different about this season of TUF. There should be some pretty funny moments

I don’t have a problem with what he said, this is not cheerleading. Forrest must know he has a weak chin, we don’t rate someone off of one fight. We saw fighters stand and bang with neither fighter having ko power. Bonner has look sick since that fight, so I can’t completely rate Forrest from that fight. Plus if Sylva fought Jackson the way he fought Liddell he’d get owned. People down Jackson for what he said yet they’ll say things like, Forrest woke up after he took Jardine lightly, or Chuck had an off day when he got beat by Jardine. That is kinda hypocritical, since Jardine beat both men but yet he really isn’t that good, so is that disrespectful or are we held to a different standard. Anderson Sylva stood in the cage and degraded Hendo is he held to a different standard. Some of you have degraded Tim Sylvia yet he has only lost to the very best in the world, so before we throw stones lets show the same level of respect that we are demanding.

I’m not sure who the chumps are that Rampage is referring to. In his last handful of fights Silva has fought Liddell, Henderson, Cro-cop and Arona. Not exactly chumps.

rampage is acting more and more like a thug, not to mention he lost a lot of credibility when he starting hanging out and training with that loser bisping. he just seems over-rated and besides, he’s only defended his belt once since he got it. something’s wrong there and i hope forrest whups him.

wow, even i heard him call forrest on that ****, maybe not those words exactly but he did say forrest had a glass jaw, punched like a cracker and wouldnt last two minutes. not only has that made him a liar but the remarks about silva are simply laughable because HE was one of those ‘chumps’. furthermore his boy hector never had a chance against forrest, let alone ‘almost knocked him out’, that was an obvious gift for griffin. so i don’t know what he’s tryin to do but it makes him look stupid in my eyes, not that anyone considered him a bright guy in the first place. this should be by far the biggest test for forrest but i think he woke up after taking jardine lightly and just might have a solid game plan, combine that with the lack of respect, should be interesting.

yes but if you actually watched those fights they where Damn good fights both Wanderlei Silva and Jackson go to war when they fight!! man those where probably the best fights of the year in pride i remember watching in was not like he got dominated an had no chance, hes definitely the best at this point in time on till proven otherwise! and i doubt Forrest will beat him. i like Forrest but i just dont think hes ready for ranpage yet why has he not faced liddle or sliva before title his shoot.

I do realize that Rampage is quite the promoter. I will also go ahead and say he is one heck of a mma fighter, but good god, the guy almost seems to belong in pro wrestling!! Everyone talks some trash, but the dude is and has been just one big show put on just like in wrestling ever since he came to UFC. Dog chains, howling, etc. I hate to think of people looking at mma, (UFC), the same way.

Rampage can promote a fight with the best of them. I remember him saying he was interested in pro wrestling before choosing MMA.

I would say that Forrest has been a little more cerebral in his matches since the Jardine KO. Forrest was hella wreckless when he started out in the UFC. I think he changed his style for the best.

Wanderlei Silva damn near killed Rampage. Twice! LOL.
