UFC Chatter: Sanchez Wants a Rematch With Koscheck

“One that would be big for my heart and soul would be Josh Koscheck. The number one question that everyone always asks me is, ‘When are you going to kick that Josh Koscheck’s ass?’ So hopefully, maybe in June or July, we can go ahead and set that fight up.”
UFC welterweight Diego Sanchez tells MMA Weekly that he hopes to face Josh Koscheck again later this year. Sanchez defeated Koscheck via split decision on the first season of “The Ultimate Fighter” but was defeated in their sanctioned rematch at UFC 69 in early-2007. That fight, however, was influenced by a severe staph infection Sanchez contracted prior to the April showdown.
Sanchez (18-2, 7-2 UFC) dropped back-to-back fights against Koscheck and Jon Fitch before defeating David Bielkheden at UFC 82 earlier this month.
Koscheck (10-2, 8-2 UFC) was defeated by Georges St. Pierre in August before rebounding with a victory over Dustin Hazelett at UFC 82.

I guess i’d root for Diego, Koshheck gets on my nerves a little more than him.
diego will get beat once again, not that their first fight was so great . he just got completely neutralized, but i don’t really like koschek either.
Diego loss was due to sicknes and his second was psycological. lets not forget he once ha 17 fight undefeated streak. all the graets lose once or twice, Royce Gracie for example but, does that make him any less great? If you ask me he will win hand dow.

first fight i went with koscheck and got into many a heated arguement and im ready to do it again koscheck this time gonna finish him in the 2nd by strikes thats my ufc fantasy when this fight goes down
Koschecks only credible fights were against an i’ll diego and a loss against gsp other than that he hasnt really fought anyone! I’ll take diego in a rematch!
They’re first fight (sanctioned) was more painful to watch than participate in I think. Hopefully a healthy Sanchez would make this the war it was hyped to be the first time.
I totaly agree with rutdogd. They are both very very annoying. So probably I’m gonna record the PPV and watch it later, so I’ll be able to skip this bout. (If it’s ever happen.)
how come alot ov ppl dont like koscheck hes one of my fav guys in the ufc and will take sanchez out again, sanchez is just a weirdo but i cant help but watch his fights i think these 2 should go at it then the winner gets hughes.
What race is Koscheck? I know that this has nothing to do with the matter but is he black or is he jewish or is he both. My friends and i cant watch him fight without debating his race. I don’t care one way or the other but f man you can’t tell what that guy is. PS i think Sanchez will win beacuse he is mexicain.

Any ways, if these two fight again, it had better be to the death. At the very least, one better finish the other MEMORABLY! If they just roll around on each other like breeding SLUGS again, they should have their contracts burned. I liked Sanchez the first time out (til I found out he thought he had HEP) and still think a physicaly and mentaly healthy Sanchez beats Kos.

I think diego is hilarious! the way he so determined and spiritual at the same time! Like he’s a shaolin warrior or something! Kos is just staight up gay with his little low cut designer jeans! what a queer!
Actually Koscheck and Sanchez has already fought twice already. They fought once on TUF-1 in the semi-finals. Sanchez won a split decision (GREAT FIGHT!). Of course in the last fight, Koscheck won in a bit of a boring fight to be quite honest. I believe Diego would probably win the rubber match. I don’t really want to see them fight again at least not right now. I think I would rather see Koscheck-vs-Parysian. I think this would be a GREAT match up and it would probably bring about a lot of trash talking in the prefight interviews. I think I would like to see Deigo-vs-Chris Wilson. Wilson new to the UFC, but it’s evident that he is a exellent fighter due to the way he took Jon Fitch to the limit.
And by the way Eddyr92806, I believe Koscheck is mixed (both black & Jewish).
i think the low cut designer jeans are compounded by the happy bleached mini-fro…I think this fight should be a special CondomDepot.com superfight with the winner getting a free Don Frye mustache-ride!

Why didnt this fight happen in the last UFC payperview? They both fought unfamiliar fighters and neither fight was televised.
I like how a bunch of you punks that talk s***, about the guys that fight but yet dont know the first thing about training or what it even takes to get into the octagon….Or even would step up with anybody that does fight… But good luck to you all…..

diego is such a dweeb. he takes himself to seriously and acts like a freakin wierdo. kos kicks ass and will beat sanchez again. kos has better standup and can use his wrestling to keep diego from taking him down. kos will win.
