  • Smitt Da Rock says:

forrest sucks!!! keith beat him and a ranked fighter, where is his title shot. he is a better fighter than griffen anyway. BooOOoO

  • dirtydan says:

Forest is one of the worl’s best light heavyweights. He definatly diserves this shot and has a good chance of winning

  • MMAN says:

Whatever man! Wheres Keiths ground game? When Griffin and Jardine have their rematch you will be singing a different tune. Forrest has earned his shot and has a much larger fan base than Keith. Forrest beat ShoGun; who beat the crap out of Rampage! He catapulted himself into title contention with that win. Keith beat Chuck; Chuck got knocked out by Rampage. Wheres your logic? If fighter drops a fight to another then your saying he will forever be behind him in the rankings? What about Alexander; should he fight Silva instead of Keith because he knocked Jardine out? Get real man! Keith will have his shot if he gets past Silva. Everything in do time.

  • eltz says:

hey smitt i agree with u jardine should have a title shot before forrest his fights are boring except 4 like 3 of his fights and now they give jardine silva 2 fight i think silva will get upset and jardine will win by ko.
but this season looks sweet cant wait 2 see the first episode.

  • MMAN says:

Eltz you must have not been a fan for very long! Forrest fights are boring? Ur a poser!

  • RingMaster says:

    Smitt and eltz…
    Jardine was killed by Alexander….
Jardine beat Chuck Liddell in a boring ass fight, where he was extremely scared to throw with him…
Griffin beat down whom many considered the best light heavyweight around, in not only an exciting fight, but in dominating fashion…

  • J-Money says:

The reason Jardine isn’t getting a title shot is he got KOed by Houston Alexander who some thought was a great fighter until he got his teeth knocked in by Thiago Silva. Forrest is still 2 fight win streak and since he beat Shogun who was going to get the next title shot, than Forrest took his place. Forrest has only lost to quality opponents Jardine being one of them. But Jardine if Jardine can make it by Wandy and then Liddell by Rashad (who beat Jardine on the UTF) than they should have a rematch and then the winner should get a title shot. Forrest only lost to Tito in a close one and yes got caught by Jardine, but still he beat the number one contender in Shogun, so that’s why he’s fighting Rampage and not Jardine.

  • JustJoe says:

Forrest and Jardine are both lame. I don’t care what anybody says about Griffin/Bonnar 1 and 2, yes the first fight was exciting, but It was 2 guys without ko power just trying to put a show on for the crowd. The only big fight Griffin has ever won was vs Shogun, and like most pride fighters Shogun had a lame UFC debut that nearly went to a decision anyway. Jardine has fought a bunch of bums besides Chuck, who is reaching the end of his career. He doe’s have ko power going for him, but I don’t see either of these guys with the belt anytime soon.

  • Tim D. says:

this does not make sense how can you come up with a logical excuse for a fighter to be ranked in front of a guy who beat him and not by decision but by tko. also why on gods green earth should jardine have to rematch chuck to get his shot. i think this just proves the point that how well you fight does not matter it’s who you are. by the way since forrest was beat by jardine he should never have fought shogun. also with the exception of maybe 2 or 3 fights forrest’s fights have not been exciting, also the only reason some say the fight between jardine and chuck was boring is that chuck didn’t win. come on guys jardine got screwed and whether we admit it or not we now it’s true.

  • Jason N. says:

forrest gets the shot because he beat shogun.. shogun was signed assuming he would be the next in line to fight rampage! They just threw forrest at him bc they thought he had a recognizable name..and would make shogun look impressive to the people who didnt know who he was…by beating forrest…but since forrest beat the guy that was silently the #1 contender…they HAD to give forrest the shot…though to everyone who follows the ufc, knows its not right…jardine should get the shot…but whatever….in due time…if he beats silva, then he will get his title shot… i also think a big part of this is that Forrest is great on camera…great personality…and Rampage is the same….so i bet Dana put those 2 together to help ratings out as well…all about the politics!! But, thats just my opinion..

  • Eric says:

I wonder if Joe Silva reads these blogs to see all of the speculation about how they pic fights.
Maybe they have an super computer in the Zuffa basement that spits out the next fight.

  • JustJoe says:

Hey good point you mean like bcs = ufccs. I could agree with that because Evan Tanner vs Yushin Okami was the worst fight ever made. That’s kinda like that weak Ohio State team being put up in the National Championship every year just to get their butt handed to them. Or putting the Irish in any bowl game for that matter.

  • eltz says:

mman calm down i have bein a mma fan 4 quite awhile now . forrest is a good fighter but he has had some boring fights like the hector ramierz that was one boring fight and the one with him and bonnar the 2nd time around was boring as well but he had a hella of a fight with shogun.
in my eyes jardine deserves a title shot as well but thats just my opinion. man this site is becoming like mmajunkie people just disrespecting people just like mman.

  • smith says:

jardine sucks get real he is old and slow with a couple of lucky fights. what every one is forgetting is the light heavy weight class sucks. rampage is a paper champion who barely got by dan henderson. who has had no real fights. he has 4 second explosive power. there is just no bad asses right now in light heavyweight. forest is fun to watch and he has had some bad luck , but really when is there going to be a gsp or a anderson silva in the light heavyweights…

  • theoneandonly says:

MMAN you know that the pride guys that come over dont have a good outing in there first fight in the cage… Or atleast there first fight in a long time.. Rampage didnt have to great of a showing against Marvin Eastman… He finally got the KO but it wasnt pretty. Rampage was very timid, just like Shogun, Wanderlei, Sokodjou, and soon to be Fedor… Forrest is pretty good whether anyone wants to admit it or not, and not a match i would want to start out with in the cage.. I gaurantee you that Silva didnt say oh Forrest Griffen is who will be the cakewalk for Shogun in his first fight… He knew it would be a good fight, and that Forrest is a warrior.

  • philipo says:

correction forrest beat an INJURED shogun,,, get your facts straight. And it healed and tore again so he all fu—ed up now

  • Kris says:

Forrest was injured as well and, injured or not, they both accepted the fight so the outcome is Forrest beating Rua, it’s as simple as that.

  • MMAN says:

Fighters always fight with injuries. It is a contact sport and fighters do get hurt while training. Either way Forrest beat ShoGun.

  • coolregg says:

This F’in TUF 7 cast list is pissin me off. The writer from yahoo made some mistakes such as confusing PATRICK Schultz, who’s NOT on the show, with PAT Schultz who IS. PAT Schultz is 6-1-1. PATRICK Schultz is a different dude.

    Check out sherdog.com.

It says PAT is 5-1-1 but they’re missing his last fight. PAT Schultz is the real deal. The one loss came to a beast named JOSH DIEKMAN who was 25-30 lbs heavier. PAT fought at heavyweight in a grudge match.

The tie was with a psychopath named Jerry Speigel. Jerry is a tough guy who’ll fight anyone.

    -Regg

  • Kris says:

Thanks Regg, I updated the post with the record reflected on Sherdog for Pat. It was hard to believe a guy from Europe with an 0-3 record would get cast so this makes a lot more sense now.

  • Alfred C says:

Hey, i heard that a guy named John “Doomsday” Howard was supposed to be cast this season. Just wondering if anyone has heard anything about him?

  • theoneandonly says:

Seen John Howard fight he was a WFL light heavyweight champ… HE is pretty freaking good.. I wouldnt mind knowing if he is on it either… but it says he isnt..

  • E-ROC says:

When will the UFC address the dreadful heavyweight division by using the Ultimate Fighter Series?

  • joel b says:

come on you know the dean of mean is a crappy fighter guarenteed they do another fihgt and it would go that way forrest has beaten more than jardine jardine beat a scared chuck liddel coming off a big loss so that is nothing i agree with the rankings

  • garlicboy says:

Mike Massesnzio beats all these guys! Why cheap ass Dana White didn’t get him on the show is beyond me. Dana White is greedier than Don King. It’s all about Strikeforce and WEC.

  • Todd says:

Jardine is boring and would have been a horrible host/coach for TUF. Part of the decision to have Forrest get the title shot is because he would be a good TUF coach. And you know they like the coaches to fight at the end.

C.B. Dolloway will win this show, watch.

  • yaknow says:

C.B. dolloway easily finishes all his fights. Weak cast in my opinion
