UFC 82 Medical Suspensions

Four UFC 82 fighters have received medical suspensions from the Ohio Athletic Commission. All four fighters received precautionary suspensions resulting from knockout or technical knockout losses at the event.
- Evan Tanner — Suspended 60 days
- Alessio Sakara — Suspended 30 days
- Jake O’Brien — Suspended 30 days
- Dustin Hazelett — Suspended 30 days

Word has it that Shogun got hurt and Liddell is gonna face a new opponent…I wonder who it is??
How about Liddell vs. Anderson Silva? I’m telling you right now the next major announcement from Dana White will be Silva to either unify the belts by fighting the winner of Griffin/Jackson or he will move up in a non-title match and fight Liddell.
Silva is not going up to LHW to fight Liddell…Some of the undersized LHW’s should drop like Bisping for a shot at the MW belt to shake things up a bit. Silva won’t move up.
How do you unify two belts from the same organization and two different weight classes?!?! Simple. You don’t.

In an interview will Silva prior to the Hendo fight he stated that he would consider fighting at 205 if he beats Hendo. UFC will allow such a move since it will sell out any arena and have a huge PPV buy. Silva would make UFC history and capture and defend both belts. 185/205. It’s a gonna happen!
I think Thiago Silva would be a really good opponent to face the Iceman.

I read about 4 fighters that were suspended at UFC82 but I don’t understand why? Is it because they were hurt?
Yeah if they are Knocked out they must give their brain time to heal. They get suspended for broken bones as well.
i wonder if sakara will stay w/ UFC, i hope dana doesnt rid of him too. dana is givin up alot of good fighters.
