Those are the exact same feelings i had with the Henderson Silva fight. To see Dan just quit that easily is really a tough to understand. It reminded me of the Penn Hughes fight were Hughes just rolled into the choke and basically gave up and then he talked about wanting someone else have the torch because he was tired of all the pressure. Im a huge Henderson fan as well as Silva but to me something just isn't sitting right with me after watching that match. Eric i could have sworn i wrote that article. In fact, it can be argued that their respective ground games might be closer in skill level than you're willing to admit or even that Silva might be slightly better off his feet than Dan is. I can't help but notice that Silva's fights tend to run in similar vein as GSP's, in that he beats fighters at their respective strengths. Strikers like Franklin and Leben, get out-struck. Ground guys, like Lutter and Hendo, get taken out on the ground. (Which is not to say the aforementioned fighters are strictly one dimensional, but have notable areas of expertise). I also loved it when Hughes Pounded Gracie out. What I like about Militech is these fighters are all so down to earth.
