tonight was a great night for fights, I thought the fight of the night went to Anderson sylvia Or Chris leban. But damn all those fights were incredable. I wanted Hendo to win but the damn Spyder is unstoppeble. There is no one next for him to fight so he should try to go up in weight. that would be next. untill UFC fight night I guess I will have to be waiting.

  • White.Boy says:

Its Anderson Silva, not Anderson Sylvia. Big error there

  • Rrandy says:

to my budd scott- told you “SILVA da Man”. I’ve always liked HENDERSON(TOP SHELF COMPETITOR)but SILVA just too much. SILVA should go up in weight. Let’s see him fight some big boys.

  • Randy says:

Scott what do you mean you didn’t see the match-You won with LEBEN and HERRING AND okami but I won with ARLOVSKI and FITCH and SILVA “Da Man”. You and you squirrely fighter lost big time……

  • MMA Kamander says:

This was an okay card overall. Most of the matches were only moderate, but main event was exceptional, adn the only prelim that was aired, was also exciting. The card is the worst UFC event so far this year, but the main event is the fight of the year so far.

5 stars for Anderson Silva vs. Dan Henderson
3 stars for Cheick Kongo vs. Heath Herring
3 stars for Chris Leben vs. Alessio Sakara
3 stars for Yushin Okami vs. Evan Tanner
3 stars for Jon Fitch vs. Chris Wilson
4 stars for Josh Koscheck vs. Justin Hazelett

Events and fights are rated from 1-5 stars based on:
    - action and excitement
    - skill and technique
    - significance and interest

  • MMA Kamander says:

What do you think the results of Silva/Henderson can say about a hypothetical match between Silva/Lindland, if anything?

What do you think are the chances of Silva/Henderson as fight of the year? I know its early in the year, but this fight was exciting and showed good technique. Also, most fights don’t have the potential to be as relevant.

  • Eric says:

The Coleman vs Lesnar fight is great! In regards to the “3 strike rule” in the UFC, Lesnar better get it together or this could be as short a run as his football stint.

  • Sean says:

it was a good night of fights.. although herring won kongo did look much improved.. in another year or two he will be a total beast!

  • Jeff says:

what is the 3 strikes rule?

  • FixXeR says:

I want to see Silva move up in weight….the 205 division is stacked…..add Silva…WOW!

  • Silva should avenge his loss over Okami, then bump up! He should attempt to do what Hendo did in Pride, and take both belts. If he is that best striker… Prove it against Chuck, Wand, and Rampage… and oh yea, Dan again!

  • johnboy says:

9 out of 10 in my picks wish ide of had a bet haha fuking anderson silva dont like the guy but hes the best pound for pound in the world i knew dan was in troube as soon as it went to the ground, i want to see silva rampage step up silva, no1 left at 185 so move up b**** haha top fighter tho he is the man, or maybe go down and have a word with GSP plz leave 185 tho

  • Sean says:

I agree.. Anderson beat down Okami then either move up or down.. What the hell maybe both.. LOL try and one up dangerous dan and get a belt in 3 divisions at the same time

  • If he could get all three then I would crown him, P4P best! Maybe of all time!

  • Vampslayr says:

Great card last night. Wasn’t as memorable as last year’s Columbus event (Couture vs Sylvia). I was glad to see the crowd be won over by Silva this year (a year ago they boo’d him as he watched Franklin fight). A few interesting tidbits you may not be aware of, 1) Dana & Ferita (spelling) left their ringside seats prior to Arlovski vs O’Brien; 2) No post fight interview with Arlovski (only one other preliminary fight didn’t get a post fight interview; 3) O’Brien was promised the fight would be televised if he won (which he didn’t); 4) Andre got one of the biggest applauses for the night; 5) Dana and Ferita returned following the Arlovski fight to ringside (beginning of the live PPV portion).

    FYI.
