  2. Fr702 says:

Well I won’t be able to watch this WEC event sooo I will have to check here as often as my evening allow owell it is what it is

  3. Kyle says:

Yes i am so glad Bowles won.

  4. doubledge says:

Bowles kicks ass. I have to admit when I first saw I’m last year I didn’t think much
Of him. But man has he proved him self.

  5. bsbiz says:

Props to Fabiano for the entry music.

All our base are belong to him.

  6. doubledge says:

I got my $ on torres. I saw him in sac. Big fan.

  7. Fr702 says:

    Bs, what was the entrance?

Double, I was in Sacramento too that was a hell of a fight

  8. bsbiz says:

    The Rocky theme. Good stuff.

  9. doubledge says:

Ya that fight was all action. Tapia is no slouch ether. So I suspect this fight to be know different.

  10. doubledge says:

Ya awesome fight in sac. Tapia is no slouch so this fight
    Should be no different.

  11. Fr702 says:

It was a good night of fights in Sacramento forsure, I’m not the biggest fan of Tapia yet that is not to take away from his skill set, I just believe that Torres is a better fighter in all aspects, but in MMA anything can happen

  12. bsbiz says:

Mir says Torres could be the p4p champ. We disagree.

He is disqualified due to rear naked mullet.

  13. Fr702 says:

The Mexican Mullet is F~ing phenominal I believe he has the power of grey skull harnessed in it….

    How is the fight??

    Anderson Silva p4p imo

  14. doubledge says:

Hell yaaa tapia gets ko 2nd round. Awsome fight. Torres is the man.

  15. Fr702 says:

Good to see Torres retain his title, I hope that the fight was great I do hope to catch it tomorrow…. Thx Doubledge cheers

  16. bsbiz says:

Torres kind of pulled a Silva: spent the first round keeping the range, finding Tapia’s timing, watching what Tapia’s game plan was while jabbing and hooking and kicking.

Second round, destroyed Tapia with a right, but Tapia showed heart and got back up, only to be destroyed again and Rosenthal had no choice but to stop the fight. Torres’ expression never changed the whole time. Tapia had a nice mouse/cut on his right cheek. Quite a solid fight.

  17. Fr702 says:

Telling u the Mexican Mullet and the power it holds is underestimated by most, hey which were the best fights of the night soo I can check them out tomorrow before my meetings???

Thx for the explainations BSbiZ and doubledge

  18. Chris L. says:

big night for the OK. State boys I see…Go Pokes

  19. surfingk5 says:

Watching the replay right now. Benavidez v Martinez with a female ref. I’m not sexist or anything but she sounds like a chick.

  20. surfingk5 says:

I think you all need to get off mexicans and mullets.

Mine was the most awesome…duck tail and stripes, two sometimes three stripes. Cause that’s how I roll(ed) b****es!!!

  21. surfingk5 says:

    I also watched He-Man religiously.

This has been the most entertaining week yet. Holy crap I’ve laughed my ass off.

  22. surfingk5 says:

Last thing for now and a more serious question on topic.

Is, the “power of gray skull” as powerful or more powerful than “the force”?

  23. justin says:

    surfing,
I don’t know enough about He-Man to really comment on the “power of gray skull”, but “the force” is what binds the universe together…I’d say that’s pretty powerful.

Good fights. Torres owned Tapia, glad to see that. Figured Fabiano for that win, good jits fight, either guy could destroy most other people in that division on the ground, but definitely need to open up their game a bit. Bowles looks weird but did a nice job in his fight, especially to get the sub at the end. Martinez needs work on his combos and he could be good, Benavidez looked good, but like his coach (Faber) just didn’t seem to have that put away power. Also have to point out that I called Swanson and Palaszewski for their wins.

And finally, UNC embarrassed Michigan State, by 35. Go Heels! ;)

  24. Fr702 says:

SurfingK5, the He~Man was/is classiclly great, I believe both the force and power of grey skull have their own specified moments and they both hold a special place in my heart

I had a rat tail or whatever and my shhh was skulpted to perfection all day, the I went to really long hair (dazed and confused) then @ 24 I noticed a lil something and had to help nature on its way

  25. Fr702 says:

Justin thx, I will check out those fights u meantioned tomorrow, it sucked I didn’t get to watch this live tho

  26. timcat says:

The most boring fight of the night by far was Fabiano/Tamura. My god.
Thought Bowles was a beast. should of showed Bart tonight.

  27. Jazzkok says:

Dude i like TORRES. He’s got some sick moves. What is that front flip that he did called? It’s good to see fighters using all of their mma skills in an mma fight. Good fight , good win.
