Matt Brown Knees Matt Arroyo at The Ultimate Fighter 7 FinaleMatt Riddle has been forced out of his welterweight debut against Ryan Thomas at UFC 91 after suffering a knee injury.

Replacing Riddle in the 170-pound matchup is fellow “The Ultimate Fighter 7″ cast member Matt Brown, according to The Wrestling Observer.

    Sounds like a pretty decent trade-off. Sucks that Riddle got injured but they found a quality fighter to replace him with.

    gutted i like riddle i was looking 4ward to watching him fight, matt brown mmmm im still not sold on this guy i get the feeling he’d rip most peoples heads off in a street fight but inside the cage, with rules, i dont think he’s that good, hope im proved wrong tho as i like the guy

    I’m gutted for Riddle too, Mike Brown will b a great replacement though.

    Why do people assume street fighting is some sort of actual style???

    In a typical “street fight”, it can be won by anyone. Whether you have skills or not. There is no skill to street fighting also. I have seen many and also been in a few. I didn’t want to be in them, but closing time on a Friday night gets pretty **** round here. In all of the Fights that happen in the street very rarely go to the “fighters” plan. Boxing skills seem to go straight out the window, Ive never seen a clean take down and any no form of ground game ever gets used. So how could Matt Brown be great in a street fight but not convincing in MMA???

    I don’t like it when MMA fighters get brought down to the level of someone who has a scrap down a back ally. These guys are trained fighters. I would say some of the best athletes in the sporting world if not thee best in the sporting world.

    And as for rules. People see rules as hindrance almost. I find that rules make the task in mind easier.

    Gutted=Torn/upset??

    Bar fights aren’t MMA, tho everyone things they are a badass when liquid courage feels their vains, in reality a simple push usually ends a re~tard fight for they’re too drunk (pissd) to focus a decent punch or anything functional…. Well that’s that there…

    Matt Brown is a good replacement for Riddle both are likeable guys

  5. Chris L. says:

  7. it’s mat brown not mike brown

  8. thedaveb says:

    street fighting may have nothing to do with mma but after watching ufc for years now i’m pretty sure a good front kick or spinning back fist will come in handy the next time some knobhead pushes in front of me in the taxi line on a saturday night! (joke)

  9. gav glasgow says:

    thedaveb a liked that 1 but a glasgow kiss is better(headbutt for those who dont know)ha also a joke!!!

  10. ryanmoney says:
