Quinton Jackson vs. Wanderlei Silva Likely For UFC 93
A long-rumored rematch between former UFC light heavyweight champion Quinton “Rampage” Jackson and former PRIDE light heavyweight champion Wanderlei Silva is likely to take place at UFC 93 UFC 94 on January 31st in Las Vegas, according to Yahoo! Sports’ Kevin Iole.
“A very good source told me on Tuesday he expects Jackson and Silva to fight Jan. 31 (Super Bowl weekend) in Las Vegas in UFC 93,” wrote Iole. “It’s a very fluid situation, but it’s almost certain it won’t happen in November and it’s very unlikely for December.”
The matchup was expected to be featured as the co-main event alongside Randy Couture vs. Brock Lesnar at UFC 91 in November.
UFC 93 in headlined by a champion vs. champion clash as UFC welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre takes on UFC lightweight champion BJ Penn in a blockbuster welterweight rematch.

@Doom, Gracie v Travis was canceled and the Japanese are know for changing their fight cards regularly remember Diaz was suppose to fight for the MW title on the last DREAM card, I love DREAM but if Rampage has to push back the fight to figure out how not to get kneed threw the cage, as long as they fight does it really matter, it does suck but???
That’s probably part of why it got pushed back, Rampage adapting to his new surroundings, and him trying to figure out how not to get kneed through the cage.

If Wandy shows up the way he did in his last fight, and Rampage shows up the way he did in his last fight, it’ll be quick work for Wandy. If Wandy shows up like he started against Chuck, and Rampage shows up like he has in other fights, Rampage might get the win this time around.

I just watched the GSP/Serra rematch again. I can’t stand that little twerp Serra. I’m glad GSP blackened his eyes. I kinda wish Ives had let it go a little longer though. Even though I wanted to see GSP win, I thought the stopage was pretty quick. GSP would have won, but I don’t think Serra had a chance to fight his way out of that mess he was in. It was good to see him get the crap beat out of him.

Dear UFC,
If matched up with a midget I will gladly fill in for the November fight card. Fans like Cole Miller are upset about this and bring up a good point how fights are shifted far too often. I want to give back. I offer my services to fight a midget as part of MMA’s introduction of midgets and dwarfs. Stop being prejudice towards small people and let a coward like me beat on someone much smaller.
