TUF 1 Marathon, Reunion Special To Air On Spike TV On Saturday, September 13th
Spike TV and the UFC have reunited top members of the original cast of “The Ultimate Fighter” for a marathon of the inaugural season of the UFC reality series.
A series of clips featuring TUF 1 cast members UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Forrest Griffin, Chris Leben, Stephan Bonnar, Josh Koscheck, Nate Quarry, Kenny Florian, Diego Sanchez, Bobby Southworth, and Mike Swick will air during “The Ultimate Fighter 1″ marathon featuring all 12 episodes and the season’s finale on Saturday, September 13 (9:00 AM – 11:30 PM, ET/PT) on Spike TV.
The “Ultimate Fighter 1″ alums reconvened where it all took place, at the UFC Training Center in Las Vegas, and reflected on the highs and lows from their experience on the key reality series which launched the UFC into the mainstream with a superb finale bout between Griffin and Bonnar.
Moderated by Joe Rogan, the panel of fighters discuss how much their lives have changed since the show’s premiere, both professionally and personally. UFC President Dana White and host of the series will talk about the profound impact the show has had on his company and the sport of mixed martial arts.
My tivo is already set. I haven’t watched these since they originally aired, so I’m excited.
I just wish they would’ve gotten EVERY person who was a cast member on that first season, not just the guys that are still fighting, the only non-UFC fighter i think is Bobby Southworth.
I am surprised they even invited Southworth, considering he fights for Strikeforce. He is a champion though and that means more publicity for the show as a whole.
southworths name sticks out like a sore thumb i think hes only on this reunion show so leben can jump him when hes talkin and i wonder if him and kos r still college frat butt buddies

“Butt Buddies” LOL….reminds me of that Southpark episode where gays want marriage rights and the governors resolution is that gays can be married but they have to be called, “butt buddies.” When questioned about what lesbians will be called the governor replies, “ahhh who cares about dykes anyway.”
I truly wish and hope that Southworth is man enough to apologize. I doubt Kos will because he is an arogant ego filled dildo. I hate that guy. I think he is FAR overrated too. As I see it, Kos is a wrestler with good power for his size but far from special.

URIJAH FABER has said he’d like to move up to LW for the super fights to fight Tyson Griffin to avenge his loss. He also said there are other fights at LW he would like to have. Later on down the road Faber mentioned he would also like to drop to 135lbs!!! THIS GUY IS GREAT!

I saw Southworths last fight live in person……. Not sure how many of you remember my rants from the days following his fight but it was F-ING BORING…..SUICIDAL BORING STYLE! TERRIBLE! UNNACCEPTABLE! LIKE DIARHEA!
When it comes down to Leben and Southworth, Leben is a far better fighter. With exception to size I think Leben would F Southworth up. I’ve seen them both and feel Southworth is old, slow and not very athletic. Southworth was very respectful to his opponent after the oring fight they put on and I would only hope Southworth has matured since the show. If there is an apology or some sort of mutual repsepct between Leben/KOS/Southworth……I’ll move on as an MMA fan without holding a grudge against KOS and Southworth. After KOS’ last victory he got booed. Then Kos said, “Ahhhh C’mon” as the boos erupted into more profanity and loud displeasure. Perhaps if KOS could figure out that his personality is as faulty as a woman with herpes and no tits, he could work on himself and be liked by those around him and the fans.
Tyson Faber I would pull for Faber….Faber at 135(say Torres) I would pull for Torres.
wow… i’m apalled who cares what people are outside the ring. i know i wouldn’t care. atleast they are not trying to be someone they are not. fake people disgust me. fighters job is to F people up, not to circle jerk with the fans…if you don’t like Kos or any other fighter, don’t hate him cause hes a douche. hate him for being a boring/crappy fighter. imo he is not i like watching him fight. lytle fight was amazing i thought. props to lytle tho
first off kos is a tool. he is a 30 year old who hasen’t broken all the way through. he is a dumb college wrestler who still bleaches his hair like a 21 y/o student. i do hate him for being boring he has had one fight that suprised me and that was his last but when you see his name on the card and that is enough to make you think twice about watching there is a problem with that. I hope he losses the next couple of fight and i won’t have to worry about seeing him on any UFC card again

and also koscheck is gettin better and better so i dont wanna hear this hes boring. he went to decision wit lytle well guess who else did matt hughes and kos did more then hughes did on the ground. u kno who else was a borin college wrestler? rashad and now hes got 2 of the best knockouts in the ufc. this sport is all about evolvin and thats exactly wat this crop of “boring” wrestlers r doin. also anyone who beats diego is my best friend just cuz all my friends hug his nuts. i went around screamin 19 and 1 ****es for… well i still do it
