James Lee Out, Mike Patt In Against Boetsch At UFC 88
James Lee has been forced to withdraw from his scheduled bout against Tim Boetsch at UFC 88 due to an undisclosed injury, reports MMA Weekly, and UFC newcomer Mike Patt will instead take on Boetsch at the September 6th event in Atlanta.
Patt (11-2), a BodogFight veteran, has won seven of his last eight fights including a first-round submission win over Adam Rodman in his most-recent bout in November 2007.
Following six straight victories to start his MMA career Boetsch (7-2) was defeated by Vladimir Matyushenko in the IFL 2007 Grad Prix. In his UFC debut Boetsch dominated David Heath, stopping his opponent with strikes late in the opening round. In his most recent bout Boetsch suffered his first UFC loss, a second-round TKO defeat to Matt Hamill at UFC Fight Night 13 in April.

Anyone who trains under Bruce Lee’s martial art is a bad ass in my book. Hope get to see Boetch do another viscious head slam like his first win. James Lee looked like crap anyway when he got kncoked out by alessio sakara.
one thought…….BUMS!
Anyone who loses to Alessio Sakara clearly is not a good fighter. He looks like he should be a good fighter, but his record is mediocre at best. The only fighters on his record that I know are the ones he’s lost to.
Boetsch is awesome. His loss to Hamil was a convincing one, but Hamil is a damn good fighter. poor guy has to face Rich franklin though, who will probably kill him.
ya fraklin will probaly kill him and im pulling for fraanklin beacause of course im a franklin fan will more than hamill but ya i quess that tim is good for a not top guy fighter…
I’m pulling for Hamil
Don’t count Matt Hamil out. Now I’m a huge Franklin fan myself but Hamil i think will be too strong for Rich. I think Hamil will take Rich down and end the fight late in the second round with nice ground and pound. If the fight stays on its feet then of course you have to give the nod to Franklin. He has some of the nicest stand up of anyone in the 185 and 205 weight classes. To tell you the truth I kinda feel sorry for Rich. He is way better than everyone at 185, except for one man…. Anderson “Spyder” Silva. It is kinda a shame to see him have to move up to a heavier weight class cause he is so exciting to watch at middle weight. I hope he has as much success in the Light Heavy Weight division as he had early on in the middle weight devision.
why is whoever loses to alessio sakarah not a good fighter? alessios a good fighter i’ve been in impressed with alot of his fights, rich is gased out hamills gonna manhandle him
cant fix a glass chin mr1000lbs.
