alot of people seem to ask why this guy’s gettin paid this and that guy’s gettin paid that. they don’t negotiate for each fight, they do 4 fight contracts so sometimes it seems like someone got underpaid but it’s cuz they signed the contract when they weren’t as big. and vice versa, look at gonzaga, he prolly re-signed his contract after beating cro-cop when they had big plans for him and now that he’s fallen off, they still gotta pay him. it works both ways so it’s hard to bash dana and the ufc for ripping the guys off since that’s what they agreed to. plus, if they put on a stellar performance, they get nice bonuses and it gives them room to negotiate for more pay in the future. in addition, these guys make good money in sponsors. granted, for what they go thru compared to other professional athletes, it seems like peanuts but the sport is still growing. yes, i’m sure dana makes a grip, but he’s done a ton for the sport and continues to do so, should he work for free?

So are there ever any PPV monetary amounts + sponsorship money, etc? There is a HUGE reason the UFC hasn’t gone public. They’d have to disclose their financial status, executive salaries, etc. I’d sure love to see how much Dana makes compared to the fighters.
